Coaching: Fire everyone not named Lindy Ruff and let him bring in a brand new staff. I feel as though Ruff has enough connections around the league to find good ppl which should be his mandate. Forward is now: Benson - Kulich/Norris - Thompson Peterka - McLeod - Tuch Zucker - Norris/Kulich - trade/rookie (this is listed 3rd but would move up or down in TOI accordingly) Greenway - Krebs - Malestyn extra Lafferty I think my math works. I roughed out the numbers to just around 89million without adding in that goalie we are trading for. This includes Noah Östlund's 886k which I left in to represent a potential callup. My math says we had 36million in forwards and 28million in defense. So I added in another 20 million which is the difference from sending Muel and UPL out and adding Gavrikov, McLeod, JJP, and Dobson which added back in 20mil. If I messed up the math, I apologize.

Cozens issues extend across multiple coaches. It seems once he was asked to do more than just blow the zone and score points, his game didn't adapt. I'm very curious to see him in the playoffs.

No, not Byram and a 1st. But you could move that package for Dobson and something else. Unsure if the Islanders realize they have to rebuild or they still think their window is open. Maybe you can flip Byram for Dobson straight up, who knows. To be truthful I was just trying to cast around for RHDs in the ballpark that might be possibly available. Other option is seeing if you can convince the NJD to part with one of their RHDs. They have 4.

What about trying to pry Noah Dobson out of the Islanders hands? We could try and give them a mix of Byram and our 1st for Dobson and whatever makes this work. I wonder if they would consider it with Dobson being an RFA. Just spitballing ideas. I would also make a play for Jordan Spence out of LA. I think these are good ideas.
