Let's go Bandits! The quest for a 3-Peat has begun
LGR4GM replied to Big Guava's topic in The Aud Club
If they win, is that the championship? -
Wasn't Fabbro waived 2yrs ago and Adams didn't bother?

So you're mad that AHL teams roster more veterans than Rochester? Also as others note, they beat quite a few of those teams in playoffs. That story he's shopping is a myth. I'm ***** floored anyone is arguing the Sabres org should roster a more veteran AHL squad so they can win there when they win there.

This article indicates Rossi is out because the GM wants size over producing. These are the types of gms you find ways to target, feed their bias. https://hockeywilderness.com/news-rumors/minnesota-wild/the-wild-are-letting-the-tail-wag-the-dog-with-marco-rossi-r30708/

Unsure.

I think they want size and a different skill set maybe? Idk it's basically they offered him a deal and he wants more and then it all feel apart I gather. I think they want someone who can score from range more than he does and I think when they demoted him during the playoff, since his response wasn't grovel grovel, they got perturbed.

Add Marco Rossi to this list.

The guy who scored a game 7 Stanley Cup winning goal and is a 50g scorer in the NHL? Yea... how dumb we were.

If a Democrat tweeted this Fox Propaganda would have wall to wall coverage of outraged Republicans.

Sabres looking for Senior Advisor for Adams and Hockey Department
LGR4GM replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
They had a thorough search for Murray? Terry Pegula is incompetent. It's not really any more complicated than that. -
I'm referring to Dobson

Some of should I say many of you are narrowing your gaze too much. You can't see the forest through the Martin Tree.

Sabres looking for Senior Advisor for Adams and Hockey Department

Karmanos helped build the Sabres analytics department. The analytics department is why Benson and McLeod are here. -
As Cam Robinson from EP wrote, "Brady Martin has one gear and it's the destroy the world gear." I'm not convinced he's the most skilled player and his skating is ... fine but he's physically involved everywhere and his pace is nightmarish. The U18s he simply overwhelmed everyone in his path. That said... I still prefer Bear. Bear has less hitting but more skill imo.
-
I fully agree we've needed more A-holes for years now. Benson, Ziemer, Helenius have some of that jam. Bear and Martin would be the 2 at 9 that fit the mold. Or... you risk it all on McQueen who is also physical and 6'5"
-
You'd have to keep it in that 9.3 range so... 8.5 x6 years. I think you might be able to trade for him which is probably preferable... or he could be unavailable entirely.

Micah has gotten to the point of even figuring out how goalies do what they do in regards to xgf. Lots of good info if you subscribe to his work.
-
Posters use expected goals or xgf and many ask how it works. It takes historical sh% based on onblocked shots on net and averages that out. Then it adds up a teams total for the game. This actual had a visual for shot zones and some models get more precise than this because of NHL tracking which is very accurate now. They can also get really fancy and adjust for shot type, screens, pre shot puck movement. I thought the general visual would help though.

But how does that save the Rangers capspace?

Musk re-wrote his own AI and basically broke it. Megalomaniac.

Martin is the best hitter in the draft. He's ruthless and good at it.

I like Martone. I'm simply noting his level of physicality. There is no rule, it simply doesn't happen. Martone won't be there at 7 and idk what it would take to move up but probably 9 and Quinn for 7 and something like a 3rd. Teams just are highly unlikely to do that.
