Where are the free speech advocates? Are businesses not allowed to do this? Sounds a little fascist. -
The Trump Tariffs: Economic War
LGR4GM replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Oval Office (Politics)'s Topics
Trumps fascism directed at Amazon for showing customers how tariffs impact prices. Dude isn't fit to be a Walmart greeter. https://www.bbc.com/news/live/cpvrrre4zlkt "A question now about reports Amazon will soon display how much the Trump tariffs are adding to the cost of each product. Leavitt steps in, saying she just got off the phone with the president, who was talking about this. "This is a hostile and political act by Amazon," she says. She holds up what appears to be a print out of a news article with a large picture of Amazon owner Jeff Bezos, and she claims it shows Amazon is partnered with a "Chinese propaganda arm". Propaganda is everything the trump admin and Fox News are engaged in. -

They're giving polygraph tests for loyalty to civil servants who don't toe the line. They very much want us to be Russia. They are putting it under the guise of leaks... but it's our government and we're entitled to know what they're doing. https://futurism.com/trump-polygraph-lie-detector-leak -
This is only for the first quarter of 2024? What was it for the full season? Just curious.
-
I see ppl didn't like this. It's true though.
-
Ok, I feel that talking about how small wgr is and how Beane is bigger implies that.
-
I really have no idea what you're talking about. Never said Beane owed them anything. I just reject your underlying notion that being successful puts one beyond reproach. Your implying that ppl who are rich or powerful can ***** on those who aren't which is a hierarchy I reject. Beane came on and acted defensive, aggressive, and condescending. You're arguing that's fine because wgr is smaller than the Bills. Again, I actually agree with Beanes underlying point, buffalo's defense isn't good enough. I don't think asking him about how they value wr though gives Beane a free pass to have a mini meltdown.
-
That's my issue though. Jeremy White did know what he was talking about and I wholeheartedly reject the notion that Beane is above being questioned in such a setting. That's not an interview then, it's just organizational propaganda. Also wtf was he calling him out for?
-
Ftr. I agree with Beane about needing better defense. They lose because of defense against the Chiefs.

Here y'all go.

He said hello. In the prior segment at the end, he told Sal he planned on asking Beane about how they value the WR position as part of the post draft breakdown considering they don't often spend high draft assets on it. Beane heard that and came in firing. Pretty well actually. This thread, and this isn't directed specifically at you, is amazing. There's audio of this and it reads on here like half of you are commenting without even bothering to listen to that audio.

Why help ppl who are starving when we can spend 100 million on a military parade for a guy who thinks serving is for suckers and losers. Or give 6 billion for Elons space narcissism.
-
He came back to it again near the end and tossed out the "this isn't fantasy football" thing again and said something about ppl only knowing who the skill position players are.
-
Sorry but this https://www.instagram.com/reel/DI_b-czRFh3/?igsh=MWJmd3E2eHgxNHZrdA== Was a bit extra from the Bills GM.
-
No it wasn't good for Beane. He came off as condescending and defensive. Also trust and respect doesn't not equal cannot be questioned. That's some bs if you think that to be blunt. Jeremy White was going to ask a good question, and Beanne couldn't handle it and didn't even get asked in the end.
-
I think the no good defensemen except Dahlin is what makes Adams an idiot. Muel is mediocre. Power has not gotten better under Wilford. Byram is, okayish. Docker looks serviceable. Clifton, no. Bryson, stop. Dude has no idea how to build a defense or being in someone to coach his up.
-
Hmm... New York. Buffalo should grab him but... lolz.
-
I thought Jeremy did pretty good. He let Beane go and then defended himself and then let Beane respond some more. I don't think I've ever heard Beane sound dickish like that before.
-
I just happened to be in the car for that... interview. Beane seemed to come in with an ax to grind.
-
This such a useless and dumb argument. It's designed to dismiss anything anyone says. If I say Helenius is 18 so we should not judge him yet, you'll toss 14yrs, which is irrelevant to him or his dev and then you'll hammer that home with the "rose colored glasses" comment. So, there's no conversation here or discussion. It's just a broad attack with no nuances designed so no one is allowed to retort. Fun. Very insightful.
-
We don't have enough defenders who know how to defend. Dahlin isn't defensive oriented and he's still good defending. They need more gritty puck moving defenders.

Benson with McLeod: 56.04%xgf. 54%hdcf So looking this over, I think you want a line that's Peterka with Tuch. Another that's Benson with McLeod and another centered on Thompson. Issue is Tuch needs a center. Zucker - Kulich - Thompson Peterka - Norris - Tuch Benson - McLeod - Quinn? Greenway? Some samples are smallish but that's about the best looking lineup you can build.
