  1. as far as the 500k retention, you dont have to do that, you can still make a trade without it.
  2. I'll worry about Kulich scoring 40 when he does it in the AHL. Outside of Kulich, would you even miss any of the rest of that? I wouldn't and winning is the goal, not trade values.
  3. Quick note, the value on Cirelli is hard to gauge. Most trades like this are a 1st round pick, a good prospect, and a decent or good roster player. I think the roster player part is lacking from Buffalo although I think a team would value Jokiharju especially since he is an RFA. I added both Kulich and Rosen because Kulich is a top prospect and I think Rosen does have value, this makes up for the lack of value with Joker. Bryson is there because I had to move him off the team and Tampa might be interested him as a cheap 8th defender option, he certainly is as good is anything else they have but he could be dropped from this trade. Jeannot is somewhat of a Tampa cap dump which keeps the value on Cirelli more manageable for Buffalo, or you can say Jeannot for Rosen and Bryson if that makes sense.
  4. In an ideal world, Adams does 3 things. He brings in a middle 6 forward like Cirelli to create competition and in case someone falls off or gets injured. He brings in 2 brand new bottom 6 guys with character that aren't under 25, I am talking about 28yr old grizzled veterans who have won in the playoffs a bit. Finally number 3, he moves on from Jokiharju and Bryson and backfills those spots with Ryan Johnson and a RHD that can play alongside Power, a veteran, such as Tanev. This leaves us with 22 players, $86,871,070 in caphits and $828,930 in capspace, so we could add a guy like Savoie if there is an injury (which there will be).
  5. I always forget how absolutely garbage the NHL Central Scouting Rankings are. Yikes. That said, I am really sad that Adam Jiricek either played like crap in the Czech pro league for 19 games or played all of 1 period (I think it was only 1 but it was 1 game) in the WJC20. There just isn't a lot to go on with him and there isn't even a viewing after his knee surgery to see where he is at. This is a wildcard type of pick. San Jose might be a good option because their 2nd 1st round pick at 14 would be a good spot and they have the benefit of already getting Celebrini, which could take the sting off a potential miss. I think Jiricek plays NHL games because he is going to be pretty solid but is he a 5th defender with 25pts a year and good defensive chops or is he a 55pt first pairing beast who destroys opponents in his own end (he is physical, I can say that much). Hard to tell and since I love his brother a lot (can we trade for David Jiricek? Please?) I may be hoping baby Jiricek is more of the same. Anyways, only brought this up because CSS has him ranked 4th for Euro skaters and that's tough considering we haven't seen him play a game since December. Also he won't be 18 until June 28th.
  6. My signed RJ Pennant and Puck are really nice.
  7. I think it's delusional to think Adams is looking to add a 1 or 2c to this team, hence why I don't talk about any.
  8. Why? and what makes him one of our top centers?
  9. Zach Benson is far more than a 5'10" pest. He isn't right, he's simplifying and dumbing down what the draft should be. Let's say that 163lb 5'11" Berkly Catton slides to 11, should Buffalo not draft him because 6'2" Bennett Sennecke is there? I'd easily say no, just like last year they shouldn't have passed on Zach Benson to take Matthew Wood. Iginla is all but guaranteed to be gone. I can't see any scenario where Iginla makes it past Calgary. Ftr Iginla, Tij is only 6' tall so he isn't exactly a monster. The good news is that outside of Catton (who won't be there at 11) there isn't any smaller forwards to even draft. Eiserman (6' 196lbs), Iginla (6' 185lbs), Greentree (6'2" 198lbs), Sennecke (6'2" 181lbs), Brandsegg-Nygard (6'1" 198lbs), Lindstrom (6'4" 216lbs) are all 6ft tall or bigger. I suppose Helenius is "small" because he is 5'11" but that is the only forward that could be there at 11 that is under 6ft. There isn't a defender either that would be there that is under 6ft. Basically what I am saying is Hamilton's take is lazy. A. size does not equal grit and Benson and Quinn are perfect examples of that. B. there simply is not a forward in this draft who will be available at 11 that is small because I just don't believe Catton slides.
  10. Their GM literally said no chance in hell yesterday. https://www.prohockeyrumors.com/2024/05/ottawa-senators-not-shopping-brady-tkachuk.html
  11. Like 5'10" Zach Benson? Size does not equal hard to play against. Also, anyone you draft at 11 is what? 3 years from the NHL and 4-6 years away from mattering in the NHL. You ain't fixing toughness anytime soon with that method.
  12. Sennecke had 10g, 26pts for 0.81ppg through his first 32 games of the OHL season (just under half). After that point and counting the playoffs he had 1.36ppg with 27g, 64pts in 47games. That is an 86ppg pace for the 63 regular season games he played. 22pts in 16 playoff games with 10 goals is notable. He finished 3rd on his team in scoring behind Calum Ritchie and Dylan Roobroeck
  13. Mack Celebrini Artyom Levushunov Carter Yakemchuk Anton Silayev Zeev Buium Berkly Catton Beckett Sennecke Ivan Demidov Zayne Parekh Cayden Lindstrom Sam Dickinson Stian Solberg Tij Iginla Konda Helenius Adam Jiricek Cole Eiserman Michael Brandsegg-Nygard Igor Chernyshov Jett Luchanko Cole Beaudoin
  14. I didn't. It merged my posts.
  15. My question for you and everyone else is how long do I have to wait for Krebs to be more than what he's shown to this point? He's currently an above average JAG. I could probably replace him with a handful of 2 mill players that would give me more. I'll give him this year but if he's the same by the trade deadline, time to move on. There's 3 guys in Rochester that might give us more. I still find it interesting for Krebs it's patience but for Cozens it's 3rd line. If Cozens is what anyone thinks a 3c is, then how is Krebs considered anywhere close to that?
  16. If at 23 Krebs still hasn't bothered to add enough muscle to play 3c how long do I wait, 25? 26? 27? 33? What's the cutoff because 18yr old Zach Benson played that style just fine.
  17. The one thing Byram gives you is the ability to run this: Power - Dahlin Byram - Clifton Samuelsson - Joker Ik others have put it out already. Just as curious as you as to how Ruff does this.
  18. The 2nd line center is Cozens. I'm truly confused why so many ppl think Adams will add a center that pushes his boy Cozens down to the 3rd line. It's just not happening impo.
  19. Roulette is good but that's pretty much it. I think he has a bunch of pp points but I'm lazy. Still, I'd knock a mofo over to get the stage to take him at 11.
  20. No No, I know you know that. Was the semantics of writing rd v rhd you know?
  21. I'd definitely wait until draft night but lou gonna lou.
