  1. He's different than Benson. Catton lacks Benson's tenacity, but most players do.
  2. Catton is the most likely to slide down.
  3. Thxs everyone. Know it's a random question, but was curious
  4. Would an Edmonton v. Florida final be the farthest distance btw final teams ever?
  5. I'm just perplexed by caring about this at all. Idk, maybe?
  6. Yes but he has to agree to an AHL deal. Why would he when he can be a ufa? Lots of good skaters in lower leagues that go no where.
  7. He's a lhd, he's behind at least 2 other prospect lhds. He's behind 4 nhl lhd (3 of which are signed until like 2031). He would be taking up a contract slot which doesn't really matter but still. What's the point? Hagels are rare, really rare. Stop hoping everyone is an exception, most are rules. This is such a non issue.
  8. I don't understand the worthy angst tbh. He's small and fast. That's kinda it.
  9. Can you at least spell his freaking name correctly? It's 5 letters for sake. Byram.
  10. Benson is an outlier, we shouldn't compare or expect others to emulate him. He shouldn't have been drafted 13th overall but more like 4th. I think the only player that could fit that seconded bolded is Savoie. Rosen might be able to handle the 3rd line now I suppose. That said, Adams hoping and wishing on his lucky penny that some 20/21yr old prospect without NHL games shows up and is serviceable is the exact attitude that failed him last year. He should be addressing roster holes by adding bonafide NHL talent, not hoping some kid might if he wishes hard enough be useful.
  11. When the Sabres add Pavelski and Johnston, let me know. Also, I think the OP's point was that the Sabres don't play anywhere near the type of game needed to win the playoffs. The Sabres are like wet tissue paper and the 4 remaining playoff teams are like tempered steel.
  12. I think he is gritty and I don't feel he falls as much as you're saying.
  13. Not to nitpick but you mean at 21 and barely at 22. Not 19 and 20. Quinn will be 23 in September. Unless you're talking about him in Rochester at 20
  14. I all but completely disagree with your take on Quinn here. I look forward to him in 2024.
  15. They like Krebs, they are good give him a good couple months at 3c before doing anything. Adams has basically said it. He's looking for guys to round out the bottom 6.
  16. I've literally and repeatedly said Adams isn't doing anything and won't do anything of substance. I explored if he could with the assets at hand and he can. Not coupled to Cirelli, probably a 3rd or 4th round pick does it.
  17. It does not matter what we trade. Bryson and Jokiharju have to move. Rosen Kulich, and 11 are assets teams would want. Pick whatever combination you're good with of that to get Cirelli and Jeannot. The trade isn't what freaking matters. Being better and making the playoffs matters more to me than figuring out what the exact combinations of some mythical trade are. Besides, Adams ain't doing ***** anyways. He's gonna run back Krebs and add 2 over the hill ufas at 1 mill a piece.
  18. And he's only here 1 year if he sucks. We're also adding him because he's physical and the prize would be Cirelli. So we can get Cirelli. You're worried about winning a trade, I'm worried about getting better. In this case, these may not line up.
