Reviewing Adams' Off-season acquisitions at the half way mark

Get them over the top of a game 7 final they lost 2-1? Come on now this is absurd. -

After they contended for a cup with him. -
I wonder how Marco Rossi is doing these days...

Because I think I can trade some combination of Cozens and Byram and still use that 1st round pick. So you're only asking half the correct question. Do I want Petterson and Cozens/Byram or do I want Petterson and Misa with no Cozens or Byram.

Lol, are you seriously asking if McLeod is worth re- signing? Your take here is bad impo. McLeod should be the 3rd line center but Adams and company are obsessed with making Kulich that. -
I don't agree because you're comparing nonsense to the top 4 in this draft. Further, what you fail to at least acknowledge is that Buffalo could win the lottery. So you're giving away potentially 1st overall. You'd be better served trading Cozens and stuff than that imo.

For all the talk of Buffalo rushing players, Novikov is a good example of patience. Love his potential.

Sabres acquire Bennett MacArthur and Jagger Joshua from Pittsburgh

Lol That said, Jason Karmanos is the gm of Rochester -
As a 23yr old in his 4th year he had 68pts in 80 games, he then had 102 in 80, 89 in 82, and is trending towards 65 in 79games. So in the last 4 years he averages 324pts in 321 games, so you are right I am lowballing him because he maths out to about 80pts a year because he will definitely miss 2-3 games a year. Including this years 1st round pick unprotected is a terrible idea. You protect a potential top 5 pick all day every day. Also that trade doesn't interest Vancouver. You hare giving them 1 high end asset, 2 middling assets and a 4th line NHL player. The vancouver trade is something like Cozens, Power/Byram for Petterson and a sweetner. That is the rough value.

Hows that working for us? Don't see vets lining up to come to Buffalo so they can play on a team for 2/3 of the year with the hopes of getting treated right when the team sucks. To the bold, holy ***** *****. If this is how this organization runs then just fold the team. Seriously if the Sabres go to Zucker and he says "yes trade me to a playoffs team" and Buffalo then lets him pick between offers... burn it down. Legitimately burn the arena, salt the earth on which it sits. Let it be a permanent memorial to the futility of man. -
I dont move Greenway or Zucker at the deadline even if they decline unless the return is stupid. This team needs vets in that room all year who will continue to push the young lazy kids to be actual professionals. I would ditch Jokiharju and something else in a package for something decent like a Greenway or McLeod. I'd consider moving on from krebs and one of Tage, Tuch, Cozens. I pick either Power or Byram and move the other. I'd look to move Samulesson. Idc about the 4th line guys because come or go they arent the main issue here. I would keep Quinn and Peterka for another year and make a decision on them, we shouldn't panic on either and I think both present the opportunity to have top 6 forwards as soon as next season. I move on from Bryson and Gilbert. So, Jokiharju, Krebs, 1 of (Tage, Tuch, Cozens), 1 of (Power/Byram), and Samuelsson. That takes 5 starters out of the lineup and another 3 depth pieces. Depending if Greenway or Zucker is back, that is 2 more for a total of 4 of your top 9 potentially.

It does not have too. You and Kevyn say it does. You could move vets and young players for other vets. This team could rebuild and be playoff bound next season if they did it correctly, but missing in year 15 is almost a guarantee if they do nothing. -
So fragile. I brought it up for the exact reason I said, it was interesting reading it back over. I actually agree with your sentence here: "Overall there was a balance of opinions shaded toward skepticism." ***** rich decrying "gotcha maneuvers" while simultaneously trying to toss one out. Rasmus Dahlin is the best player on the Sabres, will be hilarious when the likes of you convince everyone to run him out of town so he can win some Norris trophies and a cup or two. Of course it is, about 70% of this is roster, maybe 80% but Ruff is not helping at all. He never was going to help, just a fools help. Nah, they need to clean house in the coaching department.

Pegula was cheap and didn't want to pay assistant coaches. They kept all the old ones so Terry didn't have to pay old and new ones. He's a hack. I could run this team better. -
This was fun to read back over.
-
I think he's a 75pt player. Granted I think Cozens is a 55pt player.
-
I disliked your post because none of the players you mentioned are AHL eligible without clearing waivers or in Benson's case, at all.

No, this is an emotional support group for neglected Sabres fans.

This a false narrative that Adams and Pegula have pushed to explain away their incompetence. Also, winning fixing all of this and Pegula is not committed to winning. Pegula is like most billionaires where flattery, ego, and prestige all play a role. In Terry’s case, he has a team in a much more prestigious league, with a superstar QB, and a chance at a natty. So he can either hangout in loser Sabreland or can get his back slapped and the "that a boy!" From all the ppl in NFL circles. Further since his NHL team sucks, he doesn't want real leaders in charge because he believes he's the smartest guy in the room, he wants to still get patted on the back, and he wants them to assuage his fears by using the excuses of young team, ntc, and literally any other excuse because deep down Terry is a scared little kid.
