Because they're only looking at Cozens offense. They seem to be ignoring that for ever goal Cozens gets 5v5, he allows 1.25 the other way. It's like saying 5+x=0 and only being excited about the 5 Yup, there is a lot of "big guy, tough, skates great, nice shot, will be back to his 30g and 70pt pace, Buffalo is stupid" without anyone seemingly looking at the defensive metrics for Cozens which are terrible.

Bump Misa currently has 124pts in 59 games. 58g, 66a. That's 2.10 ppg. Sam Reinhart had 1.75 (whl) in his draft year for comparison. His ppg puts him in 5th all time for the OHL since 2005. McDavid (2.55), Kane (2.50), Gagner (2.23), and Rossi (2.14) are the only players with a better ppg and he might catch Rossi and could Gagner. The only player with more goals is Kane with 62 to Misa's 58. Misa could still overtake Kane before his season ends. Michael Misa is my top pick in this class. I don't particularly care that Schaefer can do x, y, and z and is so young. I think Misa is elite and because he's been so good for so long, he's not getting as much credit as his season deserves. 1. No. This is so false it hurts. This draft isn't deep, the talent at the top is better than 2024 and 2021 for sure. It's top 4 would fight nicely with Fantilli and Carlsson from 2023 for that 2-4 spot. Michael Misa has 57g in 57 games and has exceptional status. Schaefer won't be 18 until September. Hagens is a little underwhelmed in the ncaa but better than Beniers or similar. Martone is a big winger with excellent skills. Trading off one of them so we can add Peterka and 3rd overall to get some mythical rhd that no one can name or some lesser version of Tkachuk isn't fixing this team. Also, I'm sorry but it's a ***** myth that we need a playmaker at center. We're in the top 10 for 5v5 offense and our pp will improve without Cozens being useless on it.

Cozens has awful 5v5 defensive metrics. This is like dating someone who's super fun to hangout with but has a dirty house and doesn't care. Also, Pronman is truly a terrible writer. "There's lots is reasons why..." then doesn't list a single one. Just say it's because he's big and skates well Corey.

Not unless they dump a forward and a couple defenders. They have, 13 forwards either signed or as RFAs this offseason. There's quite literally no room to add unless someone else gets subtracted. They have 6 defenders signed or as RFAs so they have room for 1 defensive signing. So unless Adams actually makes trades, this is the team for next year minus 1 defender. He can't add *****.

Is this defense good enough? No, right. So we had to move out 2 of Joki, Samuelsson, Byram and Power and a minimum. We moved one so far but I don't think Muel gets as much as Byram or Power. Can we move Byram for a forward or a rhd?

I think we can answer #2, Norris is a legit center and will at minimum be buffalo's 2nd line C.
