  1. Was Tage named an Assistant Captain? I thought I saw that today but can't confirm it.
  2. Ran the split on Martin between his first half (first 28games) and his second half (34 games including playoffs). First 28 games: 0.536gpg, 1.12ppg Final 34 games: 0.606, 1.32ppg Martin did score more points in the second half of his season but it isn't a massive upswing. It is good too see though.
  3. Martin getting more love.
  4. I'd toss Zeimer in there as well.
  5. No one player changes a teams culture. You need multiple guys. Also, again caution on Martin. Let's not make him out to be some McDavid level or even Tkachuk level player. Let's under-sell a bit more than over.
  6. Can't say yet. You're asking April questions that have June answers.
  7. There's no real evidence moving down in the NHL draft is a good thing. Statistically it's not.
  8. Idk, horse racing just isn't my thing
  9. I'm cheering for titztastic
  10. Just draft him where you are.
  11. @JoeSchmoe is selling and I'm not opposed to buying. I just need to think it over first.
  12. Martin could be a 70pt player. He's got the skills for it and the aggression but to answer your question, no I wouldn't guarantee anyone else other than Misa as a 70pt player. Someone will be, but that's open for debate who from the class. Interestingly, Martin plays a high event clever offensive game that would mesh well with Benson. I have a sneaky suspicions that those 2 would play off each other perfectly.
  13. I like Martin and I'm not saying he's a 3rd liner but I think some of his offensive play will need modifications to transfer. His shot is heavy and he'll fire from anywhere. His pace is frantic and I think that's good but at the NHL level he'll need to apply it better. Also, EP has this: "Brady Martin has one gear, and it's the destroy the world gear." As always ep is awesome in their prospect coverage with their scouting reports.
  14. You watch, they'll start only funding research (through NIH) that publishes in their journals. It's fake science designed to deceive and control.
  15. Donald Trump, free speech champion, as long as you write what he wants, how he wants, when he wants. https://www.npr.org/sections/shots-health-news/2025/05/02/nx-s1-5374993/medical-journals-hit-with-threatening-letters-from-justice-department " Trump administration has criticized journals Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and National Institutes of Health Director Jay Bhattacharya have both criticized medical journals. Kennedy has even threatened legal action against journals. Just before taking over at the NIH, Bhattacharya helped start a new journal aimed at providing an alternative to mainstream publications." They are starting quack journals to make quack studies to push their ideology. This is not just close to nazi related control techniques, it's right out of the ***** handbook.
  16. We can get him at 7 but word of caution. There's this guy in every draft with varying skill levels. Tyler Boucher of 2021 comes to mind. Martin at 7 would worry me, sure he'll be an nhl player but am I getting a 40pt 3rd line guy or the potential for a 70pt top 6 guy. He's physical yes, but his underlying skills impo put him in that 12-18range. He does a lot of stuff at a glide. He's 6' 174lbs, so Martin isn't some big ole wrecking ball either.
  17. There is none. MAGA endorses and supports these actions. Their silence both at the national level and elsewhere shows us that.
  18. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cy4vz9jed5lo The AfD is about as close as you can get to nazis without being nazis. They don't consider certain ppl in Germany to be Germans and tend to exclude based on racial lines that are, problematic at best. This administration constantly shows you they support rampant authoritarianism.
  19. I'd also add I'm doubtful Kyle Dubas is a good gm.
  20. "Fear of reprisal" is a theme from the Trump white house because they are authoritarian.
