  1. Lol jjp getting some love
  2. Inject this straight into my brain: I've been bitching about how he talks size and skating for years. Love to see it called out.
  3. Idk about that, but he's certainly worth signing.
  4. I'll update the "is he worth re-signing" McLeod v. Cozens race tomorrow. They are neck and neck
  5. By this logic, Connor Clifton is our best defender so... maybe there's a flaw.
  6. That top 6 might be close.
  7. Good article but 1 gripe. Hockey suck at talking about skating. Saying "Skinner skating is average at best" is just so lazy. Skinner has great edges and balance, he's not fast and that's what the writer means. It's the same ***** Pronman pulls. Not fast doesn't mean can't skate.
  8. I mean this team is basically one giant buoy.
  9. Drafting 1st overall doesn't really do it anymore huh?
  10. He's played for 3 different teams in the last year and wants some stability. He has 2 kids and is divorced, his wife is from Minnesota, so idk why Buffalo but if he wants to be a 50pt guy again next year and support the kids, I am good with him.
  11. The difference between pick 16 and 22 in the draft is minimal at best. That said, I still would have drafted Ohgren because he was a very different skillset compared to Östlund. Nathan Gaucher was taken 22 overall and he is in year 2 of the AHL. He has 6pts in 35 games. Idk if Östlund will make it, he isn't big enough or strong enough but the underlying skills (skating, handling, positioning, passing) are all there. Honestly if you flip Kulich and Östlund's order, it looks way better. Either way, Östlund probably has 2 more AHL years left before we need to worry about him and that's fine. If they trade him, so be it, if they don't maybe he pans out. All the players taken between Östlund and Kulich. People can decide for themselves which one's they like better.
  12. That's fine if that's your argument but you said, he didn't "enough experience" and that's not true. You want to argue he isn't a good leader or what not, fine. But Rasmus Dahlin is a veteran NHL player at this point.
  13. Dahlin has played 471 games over a 7yr NHL career to date.
  14. No line rushes this morning because it was an optional skate. I would expect the exact same forward lines based on yesterday: Zucker-Cozens-Thompson Peterka-McLeod-Tuch Benson-Krebs-Quinn Malenstyn-Kozak-Lafferty Extra: Aube-Kubel My guess would be that Samuelsson would take Bryson's spot if he is ready to go. Dahlin-Byram Power-Jokiharju Bryson-Clifton Samuelsson-Gilbert
  15. Good news: Carolina has lost games this year Bad news: they are one of the best possession teams in the league and give up almost nothing when playing defense Good news: puppies and beer exist
  16. Lmfao. Yea our HoF defender lost to a HoF center. He doesn't do it several times a game. In fact he actually is excellent but you got him here, he got his pocket picked. Of course this play happens to every nhl defender at times but the difference is their teammates help. There's no mutual support on this team, it's a major problem. You know this play solely because it ended in a goal. I hope he gets traded. I can't imagine how good he'd be on a real team without Wilford coaching the defense.
  17. Not every piece of media is created, produced, and targeted exclusively to you and your tastes. Food for thought.
  18. My favorite part about this play is how Alex Tuch is not in position, Jokiharju is not in position, and I think Benson comes in late on Kopitar. Still, Dahlin needs to be better there.
  19. Better question, why does Samuelsson still have an A or why does Cozens?
  20. But what happened after that?
  21. I see a poster who was wrong about a player they never wanted using any excuse to view that player negatively.
