I'm not talking about Byrum. I'm talking about what a real offer would look like. Peterka, 9oa, and a prospect. Do you think that's too much for Robertson.
-
As Napoleon once said "never interrupt your enemy when they're making a mistake"
-
You truly believe JJ Peterka for Jason Robertson straight up, is a reasonable trade offer?
-
And Dallas would laugh you off the phone for your offer here, which is why I'm not going to refer to it 25 times because ik you know that not a full deal.
-
Focus. Peterka, 9oa, prospect
-
What do you think a 100pt forward in their prime costs? Like for real? Peterka, 9oa, and a prospect is basically the price. It's always the price give or take a sweetener. Eichel: Tuch (Peterka), Krebs (prospect), 1st round pick (which was 16th oa), and a 3rd round pick.
-
Or I can trade Peterka and don't have to think, it's just Robertson is better.
-
Is it?
-
And the implosion has begun. Trump is threatening to pull all Musks government subsidies and Musk says Trump is all over the Epstein files.
-
Hmm. Is it just 9 and Kulich?
-
Robertson doesn't.

Saw that, good read. Also I've so totally ignored central scouting for being the hacks they are that I just more realized how low they put Carbonneau. Actually I'll add. I've had a crush on what Carbonneau does for a bit. I cannot understand why he's not higher in ppls boards. The puck handling is excellent. The skating is borderline elite for his edges and quickness. He's mean sometimes, like you know how we lament players not standing up for themselves or others, Carbonneau will stand up. Actually he might want to dial it back a touch. If I can't have Bear, I'll take Carbonneau... mainly so I can hear Marty pronounce his name.
-
Now there's a great idea. Carbonneau in the ncaa would be such a great development move for him.
-
Max Psenicka is gonna end up in my top 30.
-
He just doesn't carry the puck into the zone. It's a lot of boxing out a guy, getting a pass from someone and ripping a shot. The shots great but I think his handles are just above average, his skating same. I just don't understand what makes him special outside the shot. He's physical enough, that's true and drive inside but idk, he just never pops for me. I could be wildly wrong.

Mrtka is fine, he's just not anything that blows me away. He's your typical 3/4 defender and I think I can get something similar later in the draft. I'm probably to low on him but that's okay. I don't believe in Frondell. His shot yes but I don't understand how he's going to create in the NHL because he doesn't carry much and his size advantage is gone. So he'll be a trigger guy with decent 200ft game.
-
I'd put mrtka at 17 or 18. I almost put him in Henslers spot.

I've watched way too much Carbonneau. He's fascinating to me. 6'1" and almost 200lbs with an 06 birthday so he's physically mature for the class. Usually this might mean less runway but I'm mildly convinced Carbonneau has more runaway. There's moments where he's just dominant, he'll handle, fake, slide an inane pass a teammate and crash the net. His shot is underrated and he can fire it from every angle, position, and way he wants. The talent he possesses is extraordinary. The catch is, he's too good for the Q and that means he does dumb *****. He'll try and deke 3 guys, skate into trouble, and lose pucks. I've seen him make incredibly bad decisions not because he can't see the ice, but because he's trying to be extra awesome. That's not to say he's some selfish primadona, he's very able of a team game, just on his team everything flows through him. Overall, I love him a bit. He looks like a hockey player, he's got high end tools and just needs some more play selection refinement. Another year in the Q and 2 in the AHL and I think you could have a 35g 45a player who can takeover shifts. He's willing to back and forecheck, just needs to work on some positioning defensively. Carbonneau is medium risk for high reward. If he doesn't hit, you're probably getting a 15-20g and 15-20a middle six winger who will be really good on your pp. Edit: Oh and for anyone worried Carbonneau is just a finesse guy... lolz. Dude might not be Martin but he's willing and wanting to hit things.

I think Edmonton wins in 6.
-
Yea... I think Bear might be my 8th ranked player.

They rarely are though. We didn't hear any McLeod news until it happened. There were Cozens rumors but I feel like it was 24hrs before when it sounded like names were out there in terms of Norris and Cozens.
