You're using the term completely wrong and you don't "unintentionally tank" because it's a deliberate process. Rasmus Dahlin was pretty damn good as a rookie. We don't need anyone to regress, we need improve. My issue with most of what I read above is that you don't acknowledge any of the young talent such as Krebs, Cozens, Samuelsson, etc... improving next season. We might get around 70ish points this year,if goaltending is fixed, 80+ is reasonable next year.

I 100% disagree with this. Anything longer than 3-4 years would have been a major mistake by Adams when it comes to Ullmark who isn't even that good. He has a .909sv% which we can get out of UPL and we don't have to worry about blocking Levi or Portillo for years or wondering what happens when the Sabres cap situation changes in 3 years. Anything over 4 years for Ullmark would have been a massive mistake and honestly 4 years wasn't a great idea either.

You're going to see a bump in season tickets from all the people who deferred this past season. I know 2 separate season ticket holders who were already planning on that.

He will complete 4 years post draft next year. Both things at play, he's can leave college and become a UFA if he wants. It does not matter where he was year one as long as he started college by year 2, that's the point.

That isn't the same is saying "RJ isn't the draw" it says that for some a good team pushed them over the age to go see the RJ thing. It's both RJ and the team being watchable.
