Not necessarily. I'm just saying that they could sign a deal for the 2022/23 season as opposed to signing something that starts immediately. Aka they'd be on Rochester or Buffalo in September as opposed to April -

I think if he's smart, he'll sign with Minnesota. They get him cheap for this year and next to help them with their cap issues. -

One of Levi or Portillo isn't getting a deal that starts this year. Pretty sure if it's a contract that starts in the new league year, they'll be fine. -
