  1. Oh yea, I forgot about those games during the injury hell of last season.
  2. That's pretty bold to say considering the number of forwards they have in the system. Quinn hasn't even played an nhl game yet. Neither have JJP, Savoie, Östlund, or Kulich.
  3. Shesterkin this year. The NYR aren't as good as they think without Igor being fantastic.
  4. The day I worry about if my new acquisition will block Bryson or Joker is the day I should stop caring about hockey altogether. I would send JJP down and not think twice if we added a guy. Oh no, JJP starts his NHL career at 21 instead of 20... the horror. Oh no, Bryson has to go to the press box until the first injury occurs... whatever will I do. If there's an opportunity to add someone in the 20-24 year range that improves the team, do it.
  5. Logan Mailoux. He's a POS and if he ever touches NHL ice, I hope Owen Power Brian Campbell's his sorry @ss.
  6. Yea, the entire board loved the future sacrifice moves of 2015 and 2016. Great times, worked well.
  7. Novikov is 9 months younger than Kisakov. Just BTW FYI Yolo BFF FTW
  8. Novikov plays in the KHL. He's not coming to NA to play in the AHL until that contract ends. He's signed for this season in the khl and won't even be 19 until July 25th. If he signs long term in the khl, sure what you say could be true but unlike Kisakov, Novikov is playing good minutes in a men's league.
  9. Yea and you already went back to 2020 when Levi was drafted for other picks. Just doesn't make sense. It would be like me going Savoie v Hunter Haight because Haight is their most recent center drafted.
  10. In what weird hell is Leinonen Buffalo's top goalie prospect?
  11. Carolina has 6 goalies in the system. 1 is good, 1 might be okay, the other 4 are Leinonen level or below. They were the #1 goalie system... Bader's system weighs to heavily its underage seasons and discounts growth that isn't in line with the model. Matt Boldy is a star: he put up 76pts in 61 games in his dy-1 and 81 in 64 in his dy. He put up 18 in 14 ahl games in his dy+2 Jack Quinn isn't a star: he put up 32pts in 61 in his dy-1, which is heavily weighted in the model. 89 in 62 in his DY. And 61 in 45 in his dy+2 This means that at the critical juncture of the DY and the DY+2, Jack Quinn out produced Boldy. 1.44ppg to 1.27pp 1.36ppg to 1.28ppg Now Boldy did have 39pts in 47 nhl games which is great this season. But you can't tell me that your model ranked him higher going into his DY+3 than it does Quinn when Quinn has outproduced Boldy up to that year. It's just faulty and it downplays growth. Will Quinn produce at .82ppg this year like Boldy, idk. Depends on if he gets 1pp and good linemates like Boldy did.
  12. Kisakov is in North America. He's currently in Canada while the Sabres are getting his work visa processed.
  13. Botteril avoided drafting players in 2017 and summer 2018 that might have done something bad in winter 2018, after he would have drafted them?
  14. Yup. As much as Buffalo takes crap we're a 2 hour flight or less to the entire east coast and to where something like 70% of all canadians live.
  15. As of right this moment, summer 2022, I would rather be Buffalo than Boston. We will be better than the Bruins this season. Boston has few notable prospects and they are only getting older.
  16. Kale Clague was on the u20 team. That's it for Buffalo, because 2018 coincides with Botteril being in the midst of his chl avoidance (where most of team Canada comes from).
  17. You mean the London Knights or the u20 played in London that year? I can look up both
  18. Funny you reference Boston. The bottom is dangerously close to falling out of that boat. I think it was 2018 when I did say what you're referencing, just after getting Dahlin.
  19. Is anyone else following the 2018 Canadian u20 sexual assault and hockey Canada story? Players from that team are now releasing statements if they weren't involved.
  20. The NYI finished ahead of Buffalo last year. Would you rather be the NYI with their prospect pool or Buffalo with there's?
  21. There's a really simple solution to this. Fillable and signable pdf. If you can sign a mortgage digitally you can sign a NHL contract.
