It would but instead they just went all white. They probably think that looks clean but it makes it look boring IMPO.

It should be capped with gold shoulders as that would follow the pattern of the sleeves which go from gold to blue to blue again and then just all white up top. Without this jersey looks somewhat boring and plain. It has an unbalanced feel to me but I am sure lots of ppl will like it. The blue n gold goathead and return of the B with the sword are nice and well done.

I gotta bad feeling about this game.

Got it, you're triggered because you liked Eichel and a large portion of the fanbase dislikes him. He's living rent free in both sides heads as this stage. Although the play perfectly encapsulates the players main issue, heart. You could always start that thread

JJ was one dimensional when he got to the AHL, he had really mediocre playmaking skills. They improved a ton so I think he can be a well rounded player who is a pain in the ass to play against at both ends of the ice. Never forget, JJ Peterka is 20. He won't peak for another 4 years, it's gonna be a ride. One more thought... JJ Peterka with Jiri Kulich is going to give teams nightmares in 2-3 years.

What does JJ need to do to be in the calder conversation? He currently has 3pts in 3 games including two excellent goals. I thought last night was actually not a great game from him but he was still fine. At this point he is outplaying Quinn (although we should not be surprised by Quinn starting slow when he bumps of a level, it is his MO) and he should only improve as the season progresses. I mean, this is just stone cold veteran level stuff here. As JJ Peterka said... just fun and excitement

That was an ugly win. There is a lot to clean up in the defensive zone and if we want to win often this season we need to find ways to control the puck better. A bit of a dumpster fire but low and behold, Eric Comrie was lights out. I also think you can see the Sabres have added a lot of shooting talent to this team over the last couple years and that helps as well. I have no idea when Rasmus Dahlin learned to do powerful accurate wrist shots but I want to live in that world forever. They need to figure out some of the defensive misques and they still aren't firing on all cylinders which actually gives me more hope for this season... and yes that seems odd. In the previous years when they started hot they were firing on all cylinders for the most part and then once that wasn't the case anymore, the season went to *****. This year, I would hope we see continued improvement from such a young lineup. I do think they need to seriously explore trading someone (prospect wise) to LA for one of their 27 RHDs... Helga Grans for example.
