  1. Maybe Adams is using a first rounder in trade for Tyler Myers? Is that the suggestion here? Which threads.
  2. Vejmelka is very intriguing to me and more-so than Chychrun at this point. He gives you your backup or starter for next year, it allows Anderson to retire, and it means Levi can go to Rochester.
  3. You're really going to toss out a guy with 3pts in 22 games as something Adams could have done? What a weird hill to try and die on, I mean wtf are we even doing here? You're argument is "Adams could have brought this 36yr old 4th liner who hit a guy this one time." Reaves isn't even good in the defensive zone either, he's basically a JAG. He's like lesser Kyle Okposo. Again, just bizarre that anytime anyone else does anything, a group around here has the response of "WHY DIDN"T ADAMS DO THAT!?!?!?" I mean... okay I guess.
  4. So your argument boils down to, In July 2021 the GM should have known the team in November of 2022 would be offensively good enough to make the playoffs so he should have overpaid for a netminder with an injury history in the hopes that worked out and the guy maintained or improved his numbers. Hindsight is 20/20 they say.
  5. The guy has a family and guaranteed they get about 30 million after taxes regardless, that's some solid piece of mind.
  6. Idk, even though he's 2nd in nhl goals I get to hear about Jack Eichel some more cuz... reasons?
  7. He should invest in defense. For me, that's not Chychrun due to price and injury history but Adams needs to find another 3/4 defenseman and I have doubts one exists in this system currently.
  8. This could also be true if you logic it out. My only point is we can't just say "oh Adams should've just signed Ullmark" because it's more complicated.
  9. Ullmark was gonna sign, Boston came in and upped the offer and term, and Ullmark said top that or I walk. That's what happened. Adams had a value on him and didn't think going a million more and probably an extra year was worth it. Ullmark hit ufa and decided to leave.
  10. Some? That said both have been better the last 2 games. Who cares? Like honestly why do any of you give 2 shits about Eichel anymore?
  11. Ullmark was a ufa, why is this so hard for posters? He wanted to leave and did. Not sure what Tage Thompson has to do with a goalie that left 2 years ago but here we are.
  12. Once Comrie comes back we'll be better and the offense will slow a little but Florida kept up their goal scoring torrent last season so I don't see why we can't. Biggest thing is learning to adjust in game like they did against LA. Can't until closer to the deadline. Also, in a few more days there will be a trade freeze for the holidays.
  13. I'll keep posting the dead horse beating you're doing as long as you keep posting day in day out that Adams hasn't done anything which continues to be factually bull hockey.
  14. I want to win the Stanley Cup. I see what you did there
  15. Lol, how bad do you wish Botteril was the GM?
  16. No it doesn't. Especially since this was the main argument in 2015 after missing 4 years.
  17. One thing the Tage contract quietly does for Buffalo is allows Adams to look at an agent and say "oh so your client should make 1-3 million more than Tage Thompson huh?"
