  1. You can only bring KO back if you move Olofsson at this point. No room on the wings otherwise impo.
  2. I wonder if Mitts - Krebs - Kulich works. Really depends on Krebs offseason training. He needs to be way harder on pucks and faster in executing plays.
  3. 23 and 24. Both also had way less games played at 24 than Jost. Jost has about 100ish more games played right now compared to either player. He is what he is. Really, if we say Tage broke out last season, that's about 200 fewer games than Jost to this point. Jost is what he is. Also strange you think Jost will improve but not Krebs.
  4. I don't have anything to be right on. Idk if Krebs will make it but he's 22 so we should give him this upcoming season to see. If Savoie beats him out, cool. That said they compare for WHL stats, even though I think Savoie has more tools. No one here is arguing what you are, or against it. And again, you've ignored my point. If Savoie and Kulich fail to beat out Krebs in camp, it doesn't mean much of anything about them being "the real deal".
  5. Jost is 25, what you see is what you get. Second time you've ignored my point.
  6. Sparked by discussion about Krebs being the 4th center with no hope of moving up currently (Tage, Cozens, Mitts) where does he fit and how do you view him heading into next season?
  7. Östlund won't be in NA next year and if he is, he's in Rochester. Jost isn't signed so we'll wait on that. I don't think Adams gives a flying F about showing others or the Eichel trade anymore. Savoie will start at wing. Zemgus isn't a Center. Krebs does have work to do but I think he's still got potential. It's too early to write him off.
  8. Krebs, DY+1, WHL: 1.58ppg Savoie, DY+1, WHL: 1.53ppg I think we should be willing to give Krebs another year. No, but playing good players with good players can't hurt.
  9. I have no idea what this post has to do with your statement that "(Krebs) gonna get beat out in camp or Savoie and Kulich are not the real deal" That's just not true. They certainly could beat out Krebs but if they don't, it has 0 impact on them being the "real deal".
  10. I think we're underselling how good Jack Quinn will be next year. I don't see any chance they split up Cozens and Quinn.
  11. In Krebs defense, at his age, we don't know what he'll look like in October. Hopefully much better.
  12. Kulich is a winger at the NHL level impo, just tossing that out.
  13. Because age matters.
  14. Well power is a 1st overall draft pick. Quinn was 21 this year. Levi is also 21 and only played 6 games. Age has EVERYTHING to do with where Savoie and Kulich are right now. So again, claiming they won't be anything if they don't supplant Krebs immediately is nonsense.
  15. The bold is just not true. Krebs is 3 years older than Kulich and Savoie. Saying both aren't the real deal if at 19 they don't beat out 22yr old Krebs is just wrong. No, Krebs cannot develop in Rochester anymore.
  16. Jeff Skinner finishes the season with the following: 35g, 3rd on the team 47a, t-2nd 82pts, 2nd on the team He played 79 games this season.
  17. Mattias Samuelsson.
  18. You certainly love to ignore things. Like the apocalyptic dumpster fire that was Kruegers system. A system a decade behind nhl strategy. Every single player except Eichel saw their worst statistical season under Barf Krueger. But that's not a contrarion view so you'll revise history to make one.
  19. Tage Thompson won't be moved back to wing for Casey mittelstadt. I'm just stunned the guy who got us 48g and 96pts is being demoted by half the board because he played 3 weeks of injured hockey. Recency bias is a hell of a drug.
  20. The tiebreaker doesn't matter for us though. It would simply flip us and Pittsburgh at 91pts each. 91... they topped 90 points with bad defense and leaky goalies.
  21. Again, we're forgetting Tage Thompson was injured and over-valuing Mitts imo. I disagree with your idea here.
  22. I think we may be forgetting Tage Thompson has been playing injured. No, Mitts should not be penciled in to line 1 per say but as you note, lots of lineup options. No reason to put JJP and Quinn with an emerging center imo. Give them Cozens or Tage or Mitts. We have so many wingers there's few reasons to move Tage or Cozens to wing at 5v5.
  23. Son of a bitch. Gentlemen, ladies, we have ourselves a hockey team.
  24. When else has Adams had a hard time closing "these things"?
