Considering a woman was killed in NY this week because some idiot thought he had the right to shoot a car turning around in his driveway, you're ***** right I'll make fun it.
-
Again, you didn't follow the conversation in this thread. Replace ROR name with any name on the planet, if you think you have right to beatup a news cartoonist you're a total clown show. My post is a reflection on the poster who said it and not ROR. Didn't think I had to spell that one out for you. Again this take is what I'm making fun of. The belief you have right to beat up someone over cartoon. ***** laughable and just shows a fragile child's ego to believe it.

You clearly didn't follow what I was responding to so maybe take it down a level before you meltdown over a hypothetical.
-
No, you are selling Quinn short IMO.
-
You are ignoring Quinn's development but we shall see. I predict Jack Quinn will outproduce JJP next year by let's say 10+ points. They don't.
-
That isn't how I look at tools. I picture a box with all the different tools NHL players have and I ask which ones are in Jack's and JJP's. I find that Jack's box has more tools and Jack also knows far better how to deploy and use them. Sure JJP might be faster in a straight line but his rush patterns are one speed and predictable. Jack Quinn might be a step behind but his rush patterns are unpredictable and feature speed shifts and lane fakes that JJP doesn't have in his box. JJP has tools, more than Olofsson for example but he has fewer to pick from and uses them in simpler ways than Jack Quinn.

I already wrote this but will add to the defense part. Defenders look like the following Muel - Dahlin ???? - Power Jokiharju - Lyubushkin Stillman There is no real room in Buffalo for Bryson so you either wave him or trade him. In the above we already have an abundance of forwards so I would package Olofsson for the defense help or you can look in UFA. If you trade Olofsson, that opens up a forward spot which is an easy UFA fill to add a different look to the bottom 6. Hanifin or some of the other names are out there to fill the spot by Power but it can't be Jokiharju if you expect playoffs. You have to upgrade that top 4 in case there is a top 4 injury.
-
Jack Quinn has more tools than JJP, period. They are more refined as well. They dont. Jack Quinn has higher upside. JJP is a 60pt player, Quinn is a 80pt player.

Alex Tuch is better than Jack Eichel. Basically the only thing I care about. sidenote, Alec Martinzes leads the Knights in +/- not Eichel

If ROR is such a sad, pathetic, weak minded loser, that a cartoon in the local paper triggers him, then I hope the reporter gets up and beats him with a stick.

Upl is 24.

I love how wrong Darren Dreger's name is spelled in the thread title, anyways... If I were Karmanos I'd want nothing to do with Pittsburgh. You'd need 3 straight drafts just to fix that prospect pool. It's a total dumpster fire. https://theathletic.com/3935575/2023/01/12/penguins-nhl-prospect-pool-rankings-2023/ They don't have a 2nd or 4th this year. Their cap needs a full year to fix. They are old with only 20 mill in space and basically 0 interesting forward prospects. You'll probably oversee trading either Makin, Crosby, or both. Up to Karmanos but it's a terrible situation.

Even Mitts to wing, back to center, and his promotion to the 1st line.
-
I think you should go look up why Granato moved him to center to begin with. Tage isn't going back to wing when he's healthy, it's just not happening.
-
No, you just upgrade the 3rd line wingers.
-
No chance in hell the coach who moved tage to center and literally unlocked his game is suddenly going to put him at wing all year because Mittelstadt exists. It's not happening. No Jost won't. Jost's pts per 60 hover right around 1.5 and he did 1.7 with Buffalo. That's who he is and will be.

This isn't going to be what happens. Tage won't be injured and Quinn and JJP aren't going to get demoted for Greenway. Quinn in particular, we should expect him to add 10g10a next season. I'm still amazed how virtually the entire board has amnesia that Tage Thompson was injured from the all star break on. You don't take your 90+ point, 45+ goal #1 center and move him to 2nd line wing because Mittelstadt played well for 2 weeks (yes he played well at others times this season). Recency bias.
-
I've seen rankings where Reinbacher is the 2nd defender behind Simashev. Getting him to 13 though is extremely difficult. Axel Sandin Pellikka (RHD) Colby Barlow Nate Danielson Oliver Moore Brayden Yager Would be the list of names Buffalo might get. I think Ryan Leonard will be gone.

Who cares what Krebs was traded for? Tuch alone makes the Eichel trade good. Actually, the culture change alone makes the Eichel trade good. If Greenway and Östlund are also good, bonus. Krebs being an nhl guy is great, we'll see how he does in his sophomore season. If he's only the Sabres 4th line Center, I don't really care because that means this team is deep. Deep means playoffs. If he's the 3rd line center, also good he's improved. No chance in hell for him to get above that. Again, that's good because Krebs doesn't have to hit big, that's what building a system is about. You have redundancy. Jost is 25 with 400+ nhl games Krebs is 22 with 130ish nhl games Not really surprised Jost is better.
