Yzerman has to augment his core. He doesn't have the talent in the org to do otherwise. Without jjp and Quinn, Adams would have needed to also do that. Without Power he'd also need to add. Detroit is thin, how Yzerman fixes that will be interesting. His drafting to this point has been interesting and shows a different philosophy to Adams.

The problem with Victor with Krebs is that leaves one guy to win battles along the boards and cover for them defensively. The problem with Quinn is Quinn makes tons of plays for that line. Olofsson is just a trigger guy. Also why wouldn't we want Quinn learning with Cozens and JJP? In what way does olofsson make the 2nd line more potent?

I'm unsure. He plays in the Allsveskan right now so I wonder if they try and get him to Rochester for next season. If not I could see them waiting only 1 further season before bringing him over. Either way he has a lot to learn and needs to add about 30lbs of muscle to be a successful NHL player.
