This right here is what is wrong with Bills fans. It doesn't matter they have been successful compared to franchise history. What matters is do they have the ability to win the Superbowl. We have never even won the conference. We've only had 1 shot at that and we got smoked. Beane I hadn't thought about much. Now, I am at DEFCON 2 across the board for all of them. DEFCOM 1 is they must be fired immediately. They won 13 games but the back half of that season did not look right across the board.

Honestly when he was acquired my response was just "ok meh whatever" but in the last month he's really come into his own on this team. The reason for this thread is because it appears that Jost's style meshes well with what Mitts and VO do. That line went from dear lord trade Mitts and VO to hey they aren't bad at all. I feel like Jost is the biggest variable because he has allowed Mitts to slide to wing (he's a winger for me now) and has allowed Olofsson to default back to his sniper role. Jost is better Zemgus impo where he can skate fast, take the body, dig pucks out, but also has some soft hands and an okay shot. I know we often put them as the 3rd line listed but in reality I think we have something more like this happening. Skinner - Tage - Tuch JJP - Cozens - Quinn OR Mitts - Jost - Oloffson Zemgus - Krebs - Okposo We have no real 4th line but we have 2 second lines that depending on the night seem to go off at different times. I think Jost being able to be an effective center for Mitts and VO is the reason why. Thoughts on Jost's play?

I saw the projected point totals for the playoff cutoff, it was 92.5 right now. Buffalo just has to keep winning.

Moving Mitts to wing and putting him with Jost has almost singlehandedly changed how that line plays.

Why this has faulty logic. UPL, imo, gave up 2 goals I would have liked to see him stop. Because he gave up those 2 goals I would have liked to see him stop, we were in a 1 goal game in the 3rd period necessitating that he make those other stops that you and others are giving him so much praise for. So by saying things like he won it for us in the last 10 minutes it ignores the fact, again IMO, that we were in a 1 goal game to begin with. Also in the last 10 minutes he made 2 stops that were nice and one was by the paddle of ethron lucky. Again it doesn't really matter since we won. My comment that I would like to see Comrie get a start had more to do with the team in front of him than UPL. Comrie has never really played in front of this Sabres team and I'd like to know what we have in him.
