Annual expectations thread 2023/24: #20 Jiri Kulich
LGR4GM replied to dudacek's topic in The Aud Club
He's got an excellent shot but really needs to improve his handling and his decision making to truly be a strong driver of offense at the NHL level. He really needs another AHL year to work on all of this. I think the organization would promote Rosen to the Sabres before Kulich but that is just my opinion. -
I doubt SJS would trade Musty so recently after drafting him and they are rebuilding so idk what we would trade for him if he were available. Musty, for those who don't have it in front of them, was drafted 26th overall this past year. No reason to trade for Luke Tuch at all. He is going into his 4th year in college meaning he will be a UFA in August if Montreal doesn't sign him. I would just wait and Buffalo is also swamped with forward prospects so I am not sure Buffalo is actually a good landing spot for his career. To be truthful, Tuch's numbers in college project him out to maybe a middle 6 AHL type of guy. There just isn't any reason to trade assets for that.

You mean 19. He won't be 20 by December 31st.

Most interested in Novikov at this. The 3v3 tournament was one thing but this is closer to real hockey. In truth he should look very good as he has played against men for the last 2 years and his strong.

The issue isn't if Terry Pegula thinks he has brown kids, it is that the suggestion by 11 is that Pegula can't be racist because he has children with a mother of Korean birth. What about having a wife from Asia means that Pegula is suddenly enlightened about Black struggles in the United States? I have an acquaintance who's wife is of Mexican heritage and he is one of the worst ppl I know when it comes to the border and the racial struggles going on in America. Suggesting that just because someone has a wife, kid, partner of a different race therefore they obviously wouldn't say or do something racist themselves is f##king stupid. And with that, I am going to let this thread be. I said my piece.

Annual expectations thread 2023/24: #27 Devon Levi

I changed my mind. Levi is going to be in the Calder conversation and could win it. He will see about 45-50 games and other than a December slump, will be exceedingly excellent throughout the season. -

I think my issue with it is that with a better coach, Josh Allen is a very good QB.

Just like 13 seconds, there will be no consequences. Kaiir Elam looked great tonight. Really good value with that first round pick.
-
I'm really excited for hockey season. Devon Levi is awesome.
-
Well that's the dumbest ***** thing I've heard today.
-
And that is why I have serious doubts about this coaching staff.

Dorsey has lost control and Allen is in panic mode. Let's see if they get the ball back.

Buffalo can win a superbowl this year. They have the talent. Let's see what they got...

That's fair, I too love the Bisons so I get it. -

I wanted to respond to this. Jiri Kulich is going to be good but he isn't going to be good in Buffalo this year. He has parts of his game away from the puck to round out and that is perfectly normal. His shot and shooting vision are top notch. He has a big heart and lots of determination, I think he sees some games in Buffalo this year and depending on the roster in April could even be a regular in the playoffs but he needs this year to round out his game. Next year when Olofsson is gone and Jost and Zemgus and Okposo, there will be ample room for a developed and skillful Kulich to come make his NHL mark. Kulich is 19, even Owen Power barely saw the NHL at 19. Give him time and reap the rewards when a mature and developed kid hits the NHL in 2024.
