  1. Actually, I'm just never going to discuss things with you again. See when someone decides to be a... well that word gets me banned... you don't seek their acceptance. There's me disagreeing with how you compared the two, then there's this personal sack of trash post. Enjoy your day.
  2. If you're in a playoff race and you're gonna go with Skinner, Mitts, Olofsson when you have to have the point, you're buying your own supply. Granato should know based on practice and the last season who's going. This entire notion of "well my gut felt like this guy was going tonight" cost us a point. Granato ***** up, period.
  3. Eh, he hasn't practiced in over a week. I think they just wanted him to get reps. Time will tell.
  4. Mitts is a 3rd line winger. Vo is a pp and shot specialist. We need to pick one and move on from the other if we're serious about winning next season. Bringing back both is a failure regardless of how liked they are by coaches or the room.
  5. This is a good example of Leonard, creating space for himself. He leave the puck and just pushes the defender away before retrieving the puck and going about his business. https://youtu.be/3ESFwd8HCiM?t=206
  6. Not that anyone cares but here is Liger's List. This is a preliminary list and nowhere close to final. If I forgot anyone I shouldn't have... uhh idk I will probably catch it before June. Connor Bedard Adam Fantilli Leo Carlsson Matvei Mitchkov Will Smith Zach Benson Oliver Moore Ryan Leonard (as 1 scout put it, if he loses a puck battle, he takes it personally) Quentin Musty David Reinbacher (Moritz Seider is the name being associated with him) Dmitri Simashev (A lot of scouts love his skills but my question always comes back to why isn't he scoring?) Gracyn Sawchyn (skillz) Matthew Wood (I think I am over-ranking him here to be fair, he will probably drop a bit) Colby Barlow (hardest shot in the class) Dalibor Dvorsky (he reminds me of a poor man's Marco Kasper) Andrew Cristall (a lot of ppl will rank him higher but I just don't love his game) Axel Sandin Pelikka Jayden Perron (smaller yet effective) Brayden Yager Gabe Perrault (if he had better skating he would be much much higher) Eduard Sale Riley Heidt Sam Honzek (he's big and has a long reach) Gavin Brindley Caden Price (I just enjoy watching him play defense) Nate Danielson Oscar Fisker Mølgaard (might be the smartest player in the draft) Mikhail Gulyayev Ethan Gauthier Bradley Nadeau (BCHL hockey is hard to gauge but he's got a lot of the skills you want) Calum Ritchie William Whitelaw (good shot but I think he needs work on his overall game)
  7. No that's a hard line in the sand for me. If Savoie and Kulich are both in Buffalo next years, it means that the Sabres didn't effectively supplement their forward group in an effort to make the playoffs in 2024. Jack Quinn is the best case scenario for either of their rookie years and jjp is the more likely scenario for either. We need a veteran forward who can get 35-40pts but is more defensively sound than JJP has been most of the year. It will mean winning 2-4 more games in the first half of the season and probably the same in the 2nd half because there won't be rookie growing pains.
  8. At this point, there are clearly diverging ideas on what "America" was founded to be/represent.
  9. Hi! I'm sorry that you didn't understand what I was saying but I will write it out in detail. Jack Quinn had 9pts in 15 games Jiri Kulich has 40 in 55 games That means Quinn played at a .6ppg pace in his 15 game injury season (he had a groin injury) That means that Kulich 0.73ppg is just ahead of what Quinn did. See how that works? Further you even did my work for me, Kulich had 7g in his first 32 games which shockingly falls really close in line with what we saw from injured Quinn in his first 15 games. In addition you have completely ignored Kulich's assist total which seems at odds considering that his playmaking is exactly why I would leave him in Rochester another yr. You even note that his passing needs work. That is because Kulich lacks deception and timing still. We already know he can score on breakways and from the Olofsson spot on the pp, but his overall game and his playmaking is half of what Quinn was bringing to the AHL. There is a big reason that Kulich has half as many assists as Quinn did. Quinn had 1.356ppg last year in the AHL whereas Kulich is rocking a 0.73ppg this year in the AHL. That's almost exactly half of what Quinn did. SO no, Jiri Kulich is not on the same level as Jack Quinn and is not ready to jump to the NHL yet. Finally, you say that you see more upside to Kulich compared to Quinn. That is mindboggling to me if I am being honest. Kulich is good but there are layers to Jack Quinn's game that I have never seen from Kulich. Maybe he develops them but right now the higher level functions of Quinn's game (preparing space, deception, passing, and positional iq) are not as readily apparent in Kulich. This is again another reason to leave him in Rochester so he can develop these things. This team needs to decide if it will add Savoie or Kulich but they shouldn't be adding both next season.
  10. We lost that game because of Don Granato's loyalty to Mittelstadt and Olofsson. Putting them out in a shootout before Jack Quinn literally cost us a point. Worst coaching decision I have seen him make all year and it reminds me of Leinonen pick, something so egregiously and obviously bad that it makes me question everything that went into it.
  11. Oh man, all the posters that mysteriously stopped posting over the weekend are back! It's like seeing old friends again. Hi friends!
  12. Putting olofsson and Peterka in the shootout before Quinn, is terrible coaching.
  13. Either way Chicago lied about why they weren't doing it. And I do see fear as a motivating factor.
  14. Chicago has 1 russian on the team. They canceled because they are chicken shits and then they lied about why.
  15. No problem with this. We get it and the rest of team can show support on his behalf.
  16. Description has hyperlinks to individual players so you can jump to those you are most interested in.
  17. I guess we will see if Buffalo cancels tonight citing the security concerns for Lybushkin... or you know if that is a legit threat, Boosh could simply not participate. No one would hold him in any less regards over that.
  18. They canceled their entire night for "security concerns" so yes they are lying. They didn't say hey, Nikita Zaitsev you don't need to participate because of the political climate back home." They scrapped the entire thing over "security concerns" of their only Russian player. If you have to cancel a pride night for the entire organization because you have 1 Russian that might be effected, maybe, you are essentially appeasing Putin and in that case you are being extorted by fear, meaning you are terrified, meaning you gave in to terrorists. Better not hold a military anything after you give in to terrorists.
  19. So you don't have an example? Also, I wouldn't trust what the Chicago Blackhawks said if they wished me good morning. That's a franchise that is known to lie to hide things that make them uncomfortable.
  20. When is the last time a goalie was traded for a #1 pick and what did that goalie look like the year it happened?
  21. Oh so you must have an example of a Russian hockey player in the NHL wearing or saying something in support of LGTBQ+ and being punished for it legally in Russia then? I would be curious to read that and understand how it happened.
