At 8th in this draft, we'd have some excellent options if Forton and Adams don't ***** it up.

Dahlin has made about 33 million to date before taxes. He's got 77 or so million left on his current contract.

Sabres aren't finishing bottom 3-5. Bottom 10, yea but unless the tires fall off they won't drop too the very bottom. Now if Dahlin is gone for months and Norris isn't back until the new year... coupled with other key injuries, maybe. I think McKenna is good, but all those other players are centers. Something to keep in mind.

Well... here we go again. The Hurricanes actually draft well and even play hockey in a fun coherent manner. Their biggest issue is they don't necessarily have a true best of the best but they've got some really good players. Why wouldn't we be allowed to? We've not drafted 1st since 2021 and the rule is 2 years in a 5 year span. Also the rule started in 2022 and we've never moved to since then.

Yea, I have stated a bunch I think they're a 85ish pt team. I think in the prediction thread I gave them 95pts and playoffs but quite a few have been saying this team is roughly the same but with good goaltending.

Don't worry, Forton and Adams know they need more defensemen and will draft some more this year. Gotta add another 2-3rhd and a random lhd.
