  1. Fancy stats say he is good in transition, really good along the boards, and pretty good in the defensive zone.
  2. There is no reason to keep Olofsson on this roster. Quinn is not relevant to that discussion IMPO. He needs to be traded or waived.
  3. No dude, we are done here. Dahlin is signed for the upcoming season and so is Power. Again, you have no idea what you are talking about and you are just ranting at us. We are done here.
  4. Strbak is 6feet and 1.25 inches tall according to the combine measuring. Like shooting womprats in my t16 back home
  5. Carter Sotheran, 6'3" August bday with some raw skill and a RHD
  6. He is NCAA bound next season heading to Michigan State
  7. Please stop. That is not what Marty said. He said that they could put Savoie in Buffalo for a 9 games, then send him to a conditioning stint, then send him to the WJC which he would have to make the team for. After that he would have to go back to jrs from January until his team is eliminated from the WHL playoffs, which means April. That's what he said. So sure if the WHL team gets eliminated he can go for whatever is left of the AHL playoff season sometime in most likely late April. Sigh, none of this is accurate.
  8. You have no idea what you are talking about. Jack Quinn AHL: 45games 26g 35a 61pts = 1.356 pts per game JJ Peterka AHL: 70games 28g 40a 68pts = 0.971 pts per game Isak Rosen AHL: 66games 14g 23a 37pts = 0.561 pts per game Jiri Kulich AHL: 62games 24g 22a 46pts = 0.742 pts per game Rosek and Kulich have not even reached the level of JJP and Quinn at the AHL level and you are in here RANTING about how they are the exact same and screaming about the World Juniors. It isn't the same, they are not ready, they will not be in Buffalo in the 2023 season unless it is really late in the year for a cup of coffee.
  9. They don't play in the same league! This is like arguing that Benson is better than Tage Thompson. No he didn't. The WJC20 is what you are talking about and Kulich got a Silver medal.
  10. That literally cannot happen. It is against the rules. The Sabres have 14million in capspace, they can easily afford to re-sign Mittelstadt. Hell, you can give him Olofsson's money and trade Olofsson and the capspace doesn't even change.
  11. And? This has nothing to do with NHL readiness. Kulich and Rosen are not NHL ready and that is all that matters. Great Rosen scored in the AHL playoffs and so did Kulich, I hope they can take that and be better in the AHL this upcoming season. Quickly on the bold, if this means the World Jrs than no they did not. Kulich won a silver medal. If it means the World Championship, Kulich wasn't there. Bloom was already traded
  12. What? That has nothing to do with Isak Rosen being NHL ready. That would be a completely different conversation when and if Rosen becomes NHL ready.
  13. No. What a bad idea. Rosen is not NHL ready, Kulich is not NHL ready. Rousek should be in Buffalo but there is no good reason to trade Krebs or Mitts. Both are middle 6, young, and good.
  14. There's going to be several options at 39 and 45.
  15. I bet the Sabres draft Étienne Morin. I don't love him because I think he is the type to stick check instead of taking the body and his defensive zone play is really mediocre. I would rather take Dragicevic and develop his def game than take Morin.
  16. More fun quotes this one from Benson himself:
