Is there a forward you felt should have been drafted over Savoie or Benson?

I don't personally think anyone has interest in UPL. I certainly don't think you'll get a 3rd for him.

He just played against a mostly full NHL roster and certainly a fully full NHL defense group. I am curious to see him in meaningful games once the season starts but it might wait depending on the plan Don and Kevyn have.

I don't think that was ever true. Kulich was just overhyped by fans but I think management knew his 2 way game still needs lots of work and he's not nhl ready. Sidenote: I think Bedard will struggle at times due to his size at 18, but Bedard is better skater and one of the best releases I've ever seen. Benson would need to upgrade his hands and his skating.

If I were to think on it seriously, the op was tongue and cheek, I would say as few as 3 maybe 4 teams will regret it. Chicago with Bedard is happy. Columbus with Fantilli is happy. Anaheim with Carlsson is happy. But after that, right now with expectations and recency bias, I think a bunch of teams might look back and be like "$#!+"

Out of the 3 players listed, I think Benson has the best 200ft game. As I've said elsewhere, I'm good with him going to the whl again. Truthfully I'm good either way.

That's pretty close to Columbus starting defense. That's about half their starting forwards. They are playing against buffalo's top line and 1 nhl defender. I think everyone needs to back away from the panic button.

I'd have to think that if Ryan Reynolds and his group were interested in Ottawa, than if Buffalo went up for sale they would be interested. There's value in established brands and in the next decade, city you play in will matter less than brand. Just my opinion.

The year after (2025) Benson 100% is ahl eligible. The question is potentially 2024 since Benson played the entirety of a shortened whl season and would have 4 seasons. But yes, next year I don't have any doubts Benson is a Sabre

I think most of our guys clear waivers. Most teams don't add bottom line guys because they have their own. Bryson and Biro would probably slide right on through.

No. Players who are not 20 on or by Dec 31st and from the CHL are not eligible to be sent to AHL while their CHL season is ongoing. The only exception is if you have 4 accrued CHL seasons, then you can. Benson does not qualify. I don't think they are, they are just figuring out the depth chart with them.
