He still finished on his team as 2nd in assists behind 20yr old 4th round pick Patrick Thomas. Tbh, I think I take Eklund over O'Brien and before anyone yells at me about him being 5'11"... ik. But that skating of O'Brien and the way he engages away from the puck just worries me enough. He isn't a puck hound, he has solid positioning, his skating is fine and will get better with strength (he's 170lbs), he has a lot of slick passing ideas that mostly work. I just wonder at the NHL level if he has the manipulation skills needed to open lanes and the other skillset needed to take advantage. At 10, sure but at 6... no. I should do another top 10 or 12... idk something like that. Hold please...

Most 21yr old defenders are. My issue isn't that, it's that he looks the same as he did in college. Power hasn't really evolved his game and frankly, I lay that at his feet and Wilfords.

In the draft? Hagens, Martone, Desnoyers, Eklund. Not Frondell, I'll say that. In the system, Östlund, maybe Helenius, idk, those are the two I think of.

The reason to trade Power is not because he's bad at hockey, it's because he doesn't play hockey how you want your team to. Adams lacks the ability to have that distinction and to act on it.

Jack Quinn, 3g, 3a last 2 games. He needs a strong offseason, some more confidence, and maturity. Nah. He's making up for power. I'd rather Benson maintain his style of play.

That electoral college at minimum should be proportional to the votes won. If you win 55% of a state, you get 55% of the electoral votes. Ties or partial vote goes to the person with more %. It's disenfranchisement for everyone in red or blue states who votes opposite their states majority.

The problem with the Bryson contract is that it was signed at all. No effort to upgrade that spot, just run back the thing.

Hmm, I haven't watched Rochester lately but thought he was playing center. In the Swedish league he was a center but I think when he went from Jr's to SHL he might have spent some time at wing. Idk if he's a center longterm unless he adds a lot of strength. He's only 5'11" and he's still light but he's got the details and skating to be a center. Someone who watches Rochester more would have more info.
