  1. Why the ***** should we care what line he played on in Vegas 4 years ago?
  2. He's more like Alex Tuch or maybe a jordan Greenway than a Tkachuk.
  3. What trade has Adams made that's helped the team? Greenway? I suppose Byram cuz Mitts went to hell. I think McLeod was someone else pushing that along impo. My guess Karmanos and analytics.
  4. Adams hasn't improved the team. Winning individual trades is irrelevant in that context. Terrible idea
  5. He doesn't apply his physicality consistently. I want the higher revving motor of Misa. Martone would be a nice consolation prize.
  6. Have those trades improved the team? Are we closer to the playoffs this year compared to last?
  7. Did... did Florida hit their head on something? Like a lobotomy pick.
  8. Him being 3rd on this roster in points isn't relevant. Again it depends who he would be traded for.
  9. Oh I will argue that all day long. JJ Peterka has seen a decrease in his goal scoring since last year. He went from 1.2gp60 to 1.0gp60. At even he went from 1.3 to 1.0. His assists went up but I bet my assists would go up as well if I played with tage and tuch. The idea he is about to be some 30+ goal scorer for the foreseeable future is highly questionable. He is hemorrhaging pucks in the form of giveaways, about 1 a game and his possession metrics went down, probably because he gets so many top line minutes. I like JJ Peterka, a lot actually. I think he is a solid 2nd line player with some 1st line potential but the idea the only thing he is worth trading for is McDavid is ludicrous. If Ottawa called and was like "Yo Tkachuk for Peterka and Samuelsson" I don't think anyone here would be like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
  10. The lots under the 190 do. Or park near main on the street and take the train down.
  11. Depends what he trades him for.
  12. 2 of Byram, Power, Jokiharju, and Samuelsson need to go. How Adams accomplish that, is not my problem. I'd pick 1 of Power or Byram, and I will ship out Muel because he never stays healthy and frees up cap.
  13. I think you are underestimating what a RHD can get at the trade deadline. Especially one on a cheaper contract who was good at the 4 nations. I just don't see how trading any of them for a pick as low as a 4th helps much. A 4th rounder has about a 10% chance of making 200 NHL games and about a 1% chance of being a top 6 player. That's if you wait 6ish year for them to develop.
  14. Neuchev, Novikov, and Komarov. I would say we could expect 1 of them in Buffalo. I think all 3 would be questionable.
  15. No, I mean ppl talking about how awesome the team was after Anaheim and than going on chicken little after the loss to Carolina. The team is bad, they won't make the playoffs, we know why.
  16. My concern with McQueen is that he has back issues at 17. That worries me a lot and I have to wonder if his bulging disc will return or not. Of McQueen comes back and is medically g2g, you have a top 5 instead of a top 4. McQueen becomes a wild card because he could go anywhere from 2-5 if he does really well the last 10 games and gets on a playoff run. If his team can make it a couple rounds in and he has about 20 games at the end, I think teams will move him back up boards.
  17. Maybe 1 guy goes. I think Adams is tunnel visioned enough to think they're close.
  18. The NHL is stupid. They could have been smart and put all their games under a streaming service years ago but instead they think everyone wants cable... but not only cable you also have to have ESPN+, NHLN, USA, TNT, and whatever ***** local sports network streaming service exists. It's basically unaffordable to be an NHL fan and that's before we talk about $120 a game tickets and a 41 game home regular season.
