Ok and? He won that election and Comey committed election interference that cost Hillary the election with a fake investigation into nothing. So what this shows us is Trump is a petty, insecure child, who puts his personal grievances above national security and world security. If we approach this from the idea Trump never plans to leave power and wants yes men, it makes logical sense. If we approach it from the idea Hagseth is a sexist and racist who hates JAGs, it makes prefect sense. Hagseth called JAG "JAGoffs" in his book. If we look at this from the overall idea that Trump wants yes men and has put completely unqualified tools who will do his bidding on positions of power, it makes all the sense in the world. That's the only way hacks like Hagseth and RFK jr end up anywhere.
