There's no reason for first round nhl picks to be FORCED to stay in a league that's below them for an additional year post draft. You go back for your post draft year and if you went in the first that's it. D+1 and done.

This reminds me of the Bills offense where you can tell it's off and no one seems to want to fix it. They need to wake up or this season is over... again... like every other f-ing season for the last decade. We need the confused emoji back. We could hear the stadium when Georgia scored (about .5miles away) while the ball was in the air for the go ahead TD. One of the best games I have ever watched and the atmosphere in Athens, GA was nuts. After the game the friends who were at the game met up with a big group of us who were not and we all relived the game over again, while being in what I can only describe as a Mardi Gras like atmosphere. Absolute blast.

No, UPL was bad. Sure the backchecking could have been better but UPL was bad. Both things can be true. We need to stop this idea that if a team makes a mistake in front of a goalie that lets them off the hook for being crappy. All NHL teams allow chances to their opponents, we got far below average goaltending from UPL last night and we lost. Both things can be true, UPL was bad and the team didn't cover in the d zone well enough.
