  1. Said they initiated the process this morning. Jeff Skinner is gone.
  2. I got him at 6'2" 179lbs Anyways was ranked 55 by ep and his consolidated was 82nd so nice pickup at 219.
  3. This guy https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/619102/vasili-zelenov
  4. Buffalo could do far worse in round 7 than this dude
  5. He's a 20yr old overager with meh ncaa stats. He might want to be on Rochester some day.
  6. Buffalo has all the defenders. 4 defenders with 6 picks so far this draft. In 2025, they'll need to think more about forwards to help balance the pool but that's a long way off.
  7. From Hamburg and former Jr Sabre
  8. Until Kiviharju was drafted not a single player under 5'10" was picked.
  9. Would you consider him? Asking for your opinion.
  10. Wahlberg and Mediema up front Strbak and McCarthy on the back end All 6'3" or bigger
  11. ... there's a very real world where Helenius, beats Krebs in camp. It's a long shot but not impossible.
  12. Oh very much so. 20yr old Komarov was their #1 defender.
  13. Welcome. Remember I don't know everything and to always make your own evaluation. If you look at a draft value curve so ranking all the picks from 1 to 218 or whatever, as you near the end of round 3 the curve basically goes flat. It's why I don't understand gms worried about adding a 4th to a trade to get it done, it doesn't matter in 85 out of 100 trades. There's only ever about 50-60 nhl players in a draft.
  14. Scouting reports all say yes physical. Good skater that uses his body and stick to end plays.
  15. "Brunet motors up and down the ice with a sound skating posture for a player of his 6-foot-2 size. With his skating and reach, he denies space from the opposition, closes on them in transition, and guards the front of the net. Attackers can’t go through him. He walls them off from high-danger areas. -EliteProspects 2024 NHL Draft Guide" https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/660791/simon-pier-brunet
  16. What's interesting about him is that he played on the same team as Komarov, so Buffalo probably got lots of looks at him.
  17. Defender 6'2" 196lb RHD
  18. 2ish per draft, well 2.3 really.
  19. They could. Could sign them after 3 years to help avoid that. CHL guys you only get 2 years, it's why botteril went all dumbass on never taken them.
  20. Take 60-70% of the pipeline, they won't matter in the NHL. Some will hit but a good portion like Kisakov will never make it.
