  1. He doesn't. He's trying to do what Benson does which is feed pucks to the HD area but he never draws the defense to him 1st.
  2. I mean... here's 6ppl suggesting he's not coming back in various degrees of seriousness.
  3. This thread has become the predictable and stupid morass I thought it would. When he comes back, I'm gonna do more victory laps than when this place tried to convince me that Geersten wasn't useless.
  4. Lindy said the other day they planned to give Ellis a start during the road trip.
  5. He's not what we need. Cbj have other assets that are more interesting.
  6. Im not a big chinakov guy. His motor doesn't rev high enough for me
  7. I tried to tell ppl last month that Jarmo was in Buffalo but it got no traction. It's pretty clear to me Jarmo being interviewed for gm and is here so Pegula gets to know him and is comfortable. I have this hope Adams has the capacity to recognize he can't do it and will be moved to advisor to the owner role.
  8. Caleb Malhotra is a guy to keep an eye in the 2nd round. Reminds me a bit of Helenius but not as good.
  9. It's not a stat. His skating is better than Geekie at the same age. Really it's just his edge work. I don't think he's dynamic in his rushing either... but if you need a guy to dig pucks out or to take pucks from the wall to the HD area, Belchetz can do that. Still super early in the process so we'll see how he develops. He's a guy I wish went ncaa. I wanna know what happens when he's not 5 inches and 40lbs heavier than most ppl on the ice. He's in the top 5 for me right now but again, I don't really like to make a list until January.
  10. Savoie doesn't play the type of hockey we should want to play.
  11. Oh God no. He's certainly above Power and if he wasn't, 3 guys would have overtaken him (Stenberg. Verhoeff, and Belchetz). He's imo a half step below Bedard/Celebrini but it's still early, so idk yet. He's lacking a 200ft game, fully. His offensive ideas though and skill-set are on par with Celebrini. McKenna creates offense.
  12. Belchetz is interesting. The skating holds him back a little, I've seen 1 game so maybe I'm wrong but it's noted other places. His form is okay but I wish he had better edges. He might get there because 6'5" 225lb 17yr olds aren't fully coordinated. He can by physical but I've seen it more used on walls to protect pucks than like a Tkachuk just hitting everyone... although he does hit. His ideas look high end but execution leaves something to be desired. Drives the net and has a hard release. The question is, is he Brady Tkachuk or Alex Tuch?
  13. Demidov and Lindstrom were in the mix but he was always the top pick. I don't remember 100% but there wasn't much to question there. He also didn't jump to the ncaa in their draft year. Knew you would.
  14. I usually don't in November. I like to wait until January before forming too many opinions.
  15. I think McKenna has the most offensive skill in the draft. I think Stenberg might end up the better pro, keep in mind though, a bunch of Stenbergs goals are from the pp. I see the engagement questions but also see the skill level when McKenna has the puck. This is difficult for me because since the Jarvis draft, I've been very keen to find guys with high intensity motors. Stenberg has a better motor but less creation. Idk how to evaluate them yet.
  16. Haven't seen anyone say that.
  17. I feel glad we traded him.
  18. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DQ6131PER9J/?igsh=MW9zcnlwemZuaGg0MA== Food for thought on McKenna.
  19. Could grab Luca Del Bel Belluz and stuff from cbj.
  20. San Jose or Anaheim would be the teams I look to. Columbus as well. Actually CBJ might be a good one because Tuch might be willing to sign an extension.
  21. Ladd not Brad. Go Dawgs.
