  1. Isak Rosen: 2023: 7games, 0g, 0a, -3 2024: 8games, 0g, 1a, -3 2025: 8games, 3g, 3a, -1 Noah Östlund: 2024: 8games, 0g, 0a, -6 2025: 11games, 3g, 2a, +2 (quick note, all of these points have come in the last 7 games)
  2. Wahlberg is not a center IMPO and he is 2+ years away at this rate. Helenius is and should be a middle 6 C at some point.
  3. Would be nice to know before the draft if this team actually has center depth because the draft is wing and defense heavy.
  4. Ruff on wgr talked about how good Thompson has played the last few games and that if he keeps that up, when Norris comes back, they will play Norris at 2c and Thompson as 1c. He also said Zucker may play tomorrow, Norris and then Benson will be the next back but aren't ready yet.
  5. Only thing I'll say, NHL teams don't have a full book on Ellis and they'll get that sometime soon. Can he adjust when teams figure him out or not?
  6. Rosen and Östlund contributing is huge.
  7. They aren't good but they have talent.
  8. I really like Kozak.
  9. Lets look at how bad of an argument this GAA thing is. You are bemoaning that Lyon is 24th on the GAA list... okay fine. He's got a .907sv% which let us compare to all the goalies with better GAA and see which have worse sv% #7, Darcy Keumper at 2.44gaa but 0.903sv% #9, Akira Schmid at 2.5gaa but 0.900sv% #11, Sergei Bobrovski at 2.63gaa but 0.893sv% #12, Cam Talbot at 2.71gaa but 0.896sv% #13, Jake Oettinger at 2.75gaa but 0.900sv% #14, Stuart Skinner at 2.77gaa but 0.891sv% #15, Andrei Vasilevsky at 2.77gaa but 0.900sv% #16, Jet Greaves at 2.79gaa but 0.904sv% #17, Thatcher Demko at 2.80gaa but 0.903sv% #18, Joey Daccord at 2.83gaa but 0.900sv% #19, Karel Vejmelka at 2.84gaa but 0.883sv% #20, Lukas Dostal at 2.86gaa but 0.903sv% #21, Ilya Sorokin at 2.91gaa but 0.903sv% #22, Juuse Saros at 2.91gaa but 0.892sv% #23, Filip Gustavsson at 2.99gaa but 0.897sv% #24, Jeremy Swayman at 2.99gaa but 0.902sv% #25, Dustin Wolf at 3.01gaa but 0.896sv% FINALLY at #26 we have Alex Lyon with a 3.07gaa but a 0.907sv% which means that out of allllllll the goalies with 10 or more games played, if you sort by GAA Lyon comes in at 26 and he only has a better save percentage than 17 of the guys above him in gaa. He ranks 9th in sv% by goalies with 10+ games played. But I should want 0.891sv% Stuart Skinner because his gaa is only 2.77, that doesn't make any sense. Goals against average tells us how many goals a team gives up, save percentage tells us how many shots a goalie saved.
  10. 60 NHL goalies have played 5 or more games so far this season. Lyon was 17th on that list.
  11. GAA is not a goaltending statistic. If goalie A sees 40 shots a game and has a 3gaa and goalie B sees 25 shots a game and has a 3gaa, they are the same? No. I went and looked and you wrong. There are 34 goalies that have played 10+ games.
  12. That is not and has not been how the NHL has worked in like 20 years or more.
  13. He's 19th if you do 3gp or more. He's 17th if you do 5gp or more.
  14. Hold up. If he hits UFA he can only sign for 6yrs. Kempe got 10.625x8 which is 85 million over the course of the deal. That means if Tuch goes to UFA he would need what? 14 million over 6yrs to get close to that 85million number. You could argue he would get another deal at the end so that 14mil is too high but he doesn't know that.
  15. Sure but like, that's not why they are injured. Benson blocked a shot Kulich has blood clots Zucker, Kesselring, and Norris aren't young guys or light weights.
  16. Them stadium over runs ain't cheap.
  17. Yup. The holder has to run off.
  18. If Belchetz continues to improve, he's a hard player to pass up.
