That's crazy. It's so easy to binge watch now and there are so many good shows out there. I'd recommend Dexter, Six Feet Under, Shameless, Vikings, the Following, and the Wire for Dramas since you're already watching Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. On the comedy side there's Married with Children, Third Rock from the Sun, and Eastbound and Down for shows that are already completed and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Louie, and Ash vs Evil Dead for shows that are still going on. If you make it through those I can give you more. Time to get cultured by the great idiot box.

Vanek was a very good player. His problem was he was perceived (and paid) to be a great player that was never truly able to fill the skates left behind by 23 and 48. I'm just glad he was shipped out before Pegula made him the highest paid player in the league as was rumored to be the case before he was traded for Moulson. Imagine the storm of salary cap issues we'd have if that had happened.

New seasons for House of Cards and F is for Family are available on Netflix today. I have no idea why they would wait until the day after a holiday to release them but at least the wait is over now.

What an awesome way to make the team even slower. Maybe if we can put Vanek, Moulson, Gorges, and a re-signed Franson all out on the ice at the same time we can just lull the other team to sleep.

I'll be rooting for Nashville. No desire to see even more ball washing for Crosby. Plus Nashville is kind of like Buffalo's brother/sister city. They both wear blue and gold and they both have sabretooth cats as their mascots. I'd much rather see them win.

The Evil Dead remake was decent. They went straight horror though and eliminated the comedy which was probably smart to do since Bruce Campbell only had a small cameo at the end and wasn't really a character. I wouldn't have had any faith in the new actors to pull off the horror/comedy balance required to do it justice.

Me too. Plus Minnesota already has a reputation for building their team around over priced wingers. Kane can be next on the list if we can't get him to agree to an extension in principle by draft time.

All I can think of after reading this is the scene in Fight Club where Ed Norton is rambling about his fancy plates with the imperfections that prove they were hand made by the proud and indigenous people of ........ where ever.

It happens. You've admittedly never seen the best 2 movies of the Evil Dead Trilogy though. I've admittedly only seen one of the Star Wars remakes. I believe it was the second one but I can't remember. It was the one with yoda jumping around and doing flips during the fight scene at the end. I did watch LOTR though and the original Star Wars trilogy though so at least my opinions are made having seen the movies.

I'll take the title of amazing movie opinions. Neither LOTR or Star Wars has a single character that can come close to the awesomeness that is Ash Williams. LOTR - sucks Star Wars - sucks Evil Dead Trilogy - awesome Con Air was way better hands down. Not only did it have Steve Buscemi in that Hannibal Lector type role, plus awesome peformances by Danny Trejo and John Malkovich, but it's probably the second best Nicholas Cage movie after Leaving Las Vegas.

This. They either need a winning team or they need to start offering $1 beers in order to bring in more riff raff and run off the Chet and Muffys.

Burn Notice was great. He was awesome on Jack of All Trades, My Name is Bruce, and Bubba Hotep as well. Nothing beats his new show, Ash vs Evil Dead though. It's everything I could hope for. The only way it could be better would be for there to be even more of it (more episodes, longer episodes, etc.). I can't wait for the 3rd season to start this fall.

You're missing out, man. The original one is arguably the worst one because it's hardly funny. His hand doesn't even turn evil so you don't get any chainsaw hand awesomeness. I highly recommend the other 2 as well as his show on Starz. Funny as hell and an awesome soundtrack (especially if you like 70's rock).

Everyone knows the best Trilogy is actually Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, and Army of Darkness. Hail to the King Baby!

Don't do it, man. I did this like 10 years ago or so when I used to sand sheet rock for a living and we were out of work for a few straight days because it was raining so hard and it was so damp that the houses the mudders were finishing were taking forever to dry. Each movie is like 3 discs that are each 3 hours or some nonsense like that. By the time I was done my emotions ranged between total and complete apathy towards the entire series and wanting and shove the stupid Frodo/Froto guy into the pit of fire myself. To this day I refuse to watch even a single minute of anything LOTR related, despite the fact that I still binge watch things on a regular basis.
