Not recommended. The skin gets all soggy that way. Babies need to be cooked on a grill or flat top/skillet to get the skin good and crispy. At least the ones in Carolina do.

If he thinks he's worth more than they are currently offering he'll be smart to wait.

Larrson is decent at best on face offs and doesn't do regular time on the PK. Only 44 minutes in 36 games last year and only 24 minutes in 74 games the year before. https://www.cbssports.com/nhl/players/playerpage/2043047/johan-larsson

That's the biggest issue with stork theory. They are unreliable at best. Decent hands though.

Ranking the Sabres: who are our most valuable assets?
Drunkard replied to dudacek's topic in The Aud Club
McCabe will likely be improving in the future where's that not the likely case for Okposo. For Okposo the best we can hope for is that he stays healthy and manages to maintain a performance plateau for the next few years while McCabe should still be trending up given that he's young and that defensemen peak later and age better to a certain extent. If I had to give one up it would be Okposo 10 times out of 10. -
Even more of a GM God? Really? How about he win us a damn Cup before we start on the shrine? It's like the polar opposite of the "Because Buffalo" crowd.

I think Matthews only missed it by a day and it's a shame. We could have held him for serious ransom to Phoenix for the #3 pick (and still taken Eichel there) and who knows what else. To top it off Toronto would be looking at Nylander as their #1 center going forward. If only they had induced labor on him.

Assists get watered down by the fact that each goal can have 2 people gets assists on them.
-
Sending Moulson to Rochester only saves around $1 million of his cap hit which would likely get eaten up by his replacement anyway. We need to get a team to trade for him to actually get him off the books.

Ranking the Sabres: who are our most valuable assets?

That's a fair point but the fact that McCabe will be out there producing for us this season for such a low price while Guhle will be producing for Rochester and Mittelstadt is producing for a team Pegula doesn't even own tips the scales in McCabe's favor (for me at least). The fact that he's playing for the Sabres now (no discount rate as opposed to calculating future value) gives him added intrinsic value. Once the blue chippers graduate to the NHL their value will increase because their production will actually count for Buffalo. I guess it's a question of value at this particular time or how far into the future you are factoring in. -
GMJB paid him to take Eichel out again to gain the upper hand in contract negotiations.

That's definitely a smooth stoagie. I usually favored the ones that give you a kick to the jaw though, otherwise I'd find myself inhaling too often though. My go to was usually the Rocky Patel Edge Maduro. Much easier to puff because if you made the mistake of inhaling it you'd drop a lung from all the coughing.

Movies / TV Shows - I Have Watched / Plan To Watch
Drunkard replied to Sabres Fan in NS's topic in The Aud Club
From what I saw it definitely seemed that way. If he's not given a comedic role or at least allowed to adlib enough to turn it into one it really is a waste of his talents. I forgot that I also watched Baby Driver. It was good for what it was. Something like a 6/7 out of 10. On a side note has anyone seen the tv show version of the Mist on Spike. I loved the movie and saw they are 6 or 7 episodes into season one and they're all available through the Spike app on roku (with a regular tv subscription login) but I'm curious how good it is for anyone who has been watching it. -
Movies / TV Shows - I Have Watched / Plan To Watch

I streamed several movies over the weekend. The House with Will Ferrell was really good. Kong Skull Island was good as well. We also watched the newer Alien movie with Danny McBribe but I'll probably have to re-watch that one because I kept getting pulled away from it so I don't think I was able to give it my full attention. -
I agree. He only had 14 goals the previous year too, split across Columbus and Nashville. He's scored 60+ points in each of the past 4 seasons, but I tend to value goals more than assists as well.
-
$8 million per year for 8 years.
-
I imagine he can sue or withhold their paychecks. I'm sure there's some kind of standard AWOL clause written into NHL contracts. If that's the case they can probably take any players who don't show up to work to court for breach of contract.

Yes and it was awesome. It's about time he starts getting some blame. As a devout Satanist I'm offended by this post. The dark one does not root for massholes. He told me himself over beers the other day.
-
I just hope he blames God at the end of the season when we finish 6-10.

That would eat into the commercial breaks, man. How else is everyone going to remember to buy Pepsi, Budweiser, and Southwest Airline tickets?

You're right. I corrected myself in my next post. Regier traded Vanek for Moulson and then Murray traded Moulson to Minnesota at the deadline.
-
That had nothing to do with the trade though. Vanek and Moulson were both pending UFA's and we unloaded Moulson to Minnesota at the deadline that year. TMGM then proceeded to screw up all that good deal making of Regier and Murray by giving a 30 year old Moulson (who was never fleet of foot to begin with) a 5 year contract with the undertone of the justification being that we needed to get to the cap floor. We should have offered him more money and less term instead (something like a 3 year, $21 million contract).

I think Bennett did zero and Reinhart did 1. Bennett showed how critical pull ups are though when he proceeded to injure that weak shoulder of his and miss games. I'm not worried about Mittelstadt though. I bet he could just move the earth beneath his feet up enough to put his chin over the bar using mind power (or bend the bar below his chin) but he doesn't want the government getting wind of his superhuman telekinetic powers because then they'll want to use him to defeat ISIS and Kim Jong Un rather than letting him play hockey.
-
I thought it was worse than that. I remember reading some rumor/article saying Pegula was prepared to make Vanek the highest paid player in the league which I believe at the time would have meant they would have needed to beat Malkin and his $9.5 million or something along those lines. Either way we dodged a huge bullet on that one. Thank you GMTM.

Until that side is out of power. At that exact moment it becomes their Patriotic duty to hinder, obstruct, and cause dissention.
