  1. One ony lasted a half. The other one is permanent so I'd agree. This o-line sucks out loud. They should be embarrassed to cash their paychecks.
  2. He's got a really good completion percentage if you count interceptions as regular catches.
  3. He better. I'm not completely sure Peterman can even throw a spiral at this point. That last throw was putrid.
  4. Good job Tate! Take a knee and we get the ball at the 25.
  5. Let's hope you're right because that was number 4 and he can't even blame the last one on the pass protection. I think they'll leave him in though, unfortunately.
  6. 3 interceptions already. No surprise at his struggles though. The offensive line can't pass block to save their lives. Tate needs to stop running the ball out of the end zone and just take the touchback at the 25 too. He never seems to make it to the 25 when he runs it out.
  7. Aren't you from Belgium? The US is way more religious than Europe. I wouldn't doubt faith plays a role in the hiring and promotion process quite often here in the US, despite the fact that it's supposed to be illegal in most instances.
  8. I heard that too. I guess Tyrod Taylor missed prayer service or something. A quick google search popped up this article. http://staugustine.com/local-news/sports/local-sports/2017-04-22/faith-family-football-bartram-trail-graduate-nathan
  9. Moulson is still worse because we can keep Bogosian stashed on IR when he's not playing. Of course that only helps if we are already over the cap though. Despite not playing a single second, Bogosian has managed to contribute the exact same point production as well.
  10. The guy who shot up the church had been court martialed while he was in the Air Force for domestic violence because he beat his wife and cracked his kids skull or something along those lines. Apparently he also escaped from a nut house as well. Seems like the perfect person to ban from buying a weapon, but someone screwed the pooch and forgot to put him in the database. Our leadership has more important stuff to worry about though, like which football players take a knee during the anthem.
  11. Just because people disagree with you doesn't mean we don't understand your point. It's a big stink right now, for sure, but a few months from now it won't be. When is the last time you heard anyone on the news talk about the shooting in Vegas? Not in a good while. How about the one in the movie theater during the Batman movie? Sandy Hook? A really long time except for when somebody starts listing examples in an interview or something. And why is that? Because if they really want to talk about guns they'll reference the former Air Force guy with the DV rapsheet who shot up the church instead. Once some nut shoots up a six flags you won't hear anything else about the church guy. Americans love a good comeback story. Whether it's drug addicts like Charlie Sheen, Tim Allen, and Robert Downey Jr. to sexual predators like Woody Allen, Roman Polanski, Mike Tyson, or the Catholic church. People will forgive their transgressions after they admit guilt, pay a light penance (like sex rehab instead of jail), and ask for forgiveness, then the world will resume as normal. The only solace is that the offenders will be on a much shorter leash going forward and if they pull any crap in the future the next victims will probably (it's sad I even need to insert probably here but it's America and I won't take it for granted) be believed right away and the transgressions won't just get swept under the rug.
  12. We'll see how long it lasts. Kevin Spacey didn't have a morality clause in his contract with Netflix so there's a good chance he's going to get paid even if he remains fired. I still see promos for the next upcoming season of the show Baskets on FX and guess who is an executive Producer on that show? None other than Louis CK. Woody Allen married his adopted daughter for Christ sakes and the guy still manages to get funding for movies. I don't think most of these guys will be out of work for very long. There may be one or two sacrificial lambs (many Weinstein and Spacey get blackballed or something) but the vast majority of offenders won't face much of anything long term and certainly won't see their careers end permanently. Edit: I guess FX did fire Louis CK so I guess they'll do the show without him. He'll probably lay low for a few months then go back to doing stand up. Somebody will take the negative press to air it on some platform and it will get rave reviews and he'll launch his big comeback. It's happened before and it'll happen again.
  13. This. As much as I wanted to see Reinhart remain at center, I'm glad he's back on a line with a couple of guys who like the shoot the puck since he seems to prefer to camp out in front of the net and screen the goalie. I'd prefer Reinhart centering Kane on a separate line and leaving Eichel with Pominville and someone like Girgensons on his LW, but this will have to do for now. Girgensons Eichel Pominville (this line worked earlier in the season but was broken up for some unknown reason) Pouliot O'Reilly Okposo Kane Reinhart Baptiste (I wish they would try something like this) Moulson Larsson Nolan
  14. I'm waiting for nuns with guns. Sister Agnes needs an AR-15 with a bump stock to keep all the disgruntled worshippers in line. It should have the added benefit of making all kids in Catholic school stop horsing around and hit the books as well.
  15. Well I guess it's a good thing I don't need your permission to voice my opinion. People were pissed about Sandy Hook too and we see what all that anger accomplished.
  16. The Hollywood Rapture of 2017? I think that's way over stating it. Sure it's making headlines and creating shock now, and a few people have been fired or whatever, but it will fade and things will go back to business as usual soon enough. Then it will be just like mass shootings. A day or two of headlines, calls for debates, and a our couch potato nation will be so up in arms that they'll make their big stand by typing a post on facebook or coming up with a viral hashtag for twitter. Then it will fade and we can start the cycle over again after some nut shoots up disneyland or some A lister like Brad Pitt goes on a serial groping spree.
  17. Bruce Campbell is God. Guys like Will Ferrell, Danny McBride, and John Lithgow can exist on his plane, but they all hail to the king, baby!
  18. He's definitely an acquired taste in the same vein of Bruce Campbell and Danny McBride. If you ever get the chance check out Stranger than fiction with Him and Maggie Gyllenhal (sp?). Every chick I've ever dated that said they hated all of Will Farrell's movies seems to make an exception for that one after I watched it with them. It's not overtly funny but it's good.
  19. He's been in so many movies I love. Not sure on the years, but Stepbrothers was awesome and I think that came after wedding crashers. He was great in Stranger than Fiction despite not being overtly comical and I also loved him in Everything Must Go which wasn't particularly funny either. The Campaign was also great, plus all those other comedy movies he's been in that are the main ones people remember (Anchorman, Semi-pro, Talladega Nights, The House, Get Hard, etc.). Throw in John Lithgow and it's even better. I think I've liked virtually everything I've ever seen him in (Harry and the Henderson, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Dexter, Trial and Error). I'm sure there are others, but those stick out to me off the top of my head. Lies! Stepbrothers was better than Anchorman and I just looked it up and it was 4 years later. Plus all the other movies I listed in the other post I made. I forgot to include his character as Ashley Shaffer in Eastbound & Down. Ferrell is awesome.
  20. This has all the makings of a 6-0 shutout where we get spanked while the boards argues between whether our forwards, defensemen, or goalies are most in need of upgrades.
  21. I think Daddy's Home 2 is going to be good. John Lithgow and Will Ferrell in the same movie. Even if it's a turd I'm going to give it a shot. Too much potential for hilarity.
  22. I'm fine with going to Peterman once the Bills are officially eliminated from the playoffs (for the 18th consecutive year) but while they still have a mathematical chance to make it, I think they need to stick with Taylor.
  23. Paper lynx definitely fits better but people will see the stat line of 70% completions rate with a touchdown and no interceptions and try to extrapolate that over a full game or full season. Some folks just can't help themselves.
  24. He's still better than anyone else we have. Peterman will prove to be another paper tiger once he plays a defense that's not ready to run for the bus while sitting on a 40 point lead with the time running out. This team has way bigger problems than Taylor, particularly both the offensive and defensive lines. The defense can't pressure the other team's QB or stop the run and we can't protect the QB or open lanes for our running game.
