  1. Can you put the Benny Hill theme song in the background of the videos? Seems like it would work well.
  2. I think all that stuff dances close to the line but not over it. If the wrestler cuts Incognito because of his festivus pole or forces Cordy Glenn to get rid of his Jobu statue then there could be a major storm that falls upon one Bills drive (the examples I made up are just examples). The ACLU will have a field day with all the anecdotal evidence they've peppered into statements to the press over the past few years.
  3. That doesn't matter. Plenty of people who were raised on Jesus have no interest in prayer circles or bible passages. You don't have to be a muslim, jew, or hindu to not want to be quoted Bible scriptures when you clock into work. He's walking a fine line here already if he's bringing it up in press conferences. All it takes is one non Christian with an ax to grind to get cut or demoted and they'll have the ACLU up their butts. I'm not saying he has but if he ever lets it slip that his personal religious preferences have any impact on roster or staffing decisions he'll be rattling a potential bees nest.
  4. It may lead to unity if everyone shares the same faith. It probably ostracizes any players who aren't though.
  5. That's disturbing. I hope they do it like the military where a chaplain is always made available but never required/mandatory. If they use faith in their decision making process regarding personnel and are stupid enough to admit it on tape they'll probably get sued (and rightly so).
  6. I hope you're joking. I fear you're not though.
  7. It was a good move because we got assets to rent a player then got the player back. It would have been fine if Murray had signed him for more money and less term. A 3 year $21 million contract would have ended last year and we'd be in better position to keep Kane who is still in his 20's. He gave an already slow 31 year old a 5 year contract. That was the stupid part, not trading a pending UFA then re-signing him that summer.
  8. If this team is still in evaluation mode by 2019/2020 then there's no hope for FXGMJB or FXHCPH. This is their evaluation year, not 2 seasons from now.
  9. Or ....... Let's see how Eichel does without Kane. Maybe people are looking at it wrong and Eichel is actually riding Kane's coat tails. Wouldn't that turn out to be the most Buffalo disaster ever? We ship out Kane at the TDL for futures and it causes Eichel's scoring to nose dive. It may not be the most likely scenario but I wouldn't put anything past the hockey gods. How many of Eichel's points this season have nothing to do with Kane? I remember a brief stint of him playing well with Pominville and Girgensons earlier in the season but there's no guarantee that continues. I didn't watch the game last night but I see from the link below that Kane got put with O'Reilly and Reinhart and Eichel got put back with Girgensons and Pominville. Eichel got the assist on Kane's goal though. Did they get put back together or did they just happen to be on together during a partial line change? From what I see on the NHL app it wasn't a power play goal and didn't appear to be from the video of the goal. Did Housley juggle the lines at the end because it was approaching the end of the game and we were down 2 until Kane cut the deficit to 1? https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/buffalo-sabres/line-combinations/
  10. So there was another Manning kid before Peyton? Never knew that. Never thought I'd miss that oaf. Even he wouldn't put Peterman back in there after what happened last game.
  11. Yeah but you know the second one is going to be an entitled brat and demand to choose the team he wants to play for. It definitely won't be us, but could you really blame him?
  12. How about the fact that Taylor gives them the best chance to win? Peterman is in over his head. Taylor is no world beater but he's still the QB they've had since Flutie. They have almost no chance to win if Peterman starts.
  13. If he starts Peterman next week then I'm officially on the fire McDumbass now bandwagon. He can't possibly be that stupid, can he?
  14. God is angry because you touch yourself sometimes at night. He doesn't like that. It's in the bible ........ I think the front. Until you stop Buffalo will continue to stink.
  15. I guess I should state that I believe they share the blame, but the coach deserves more of it than the player then. Not all of it (poor wording previously on my part) but at least 51% of it, and probably more. Once again Peterman sucked big time. A whole lot. He stunk so bad it was painfully obvious that he wasn't prepared to play. That doesn't change the fact that he was so bad it should have been evident before he ever took the field. That's what McDumbass is paid to do. Coach and evaluate the progress of his players. He should have known that was going to happen. He's had a front row seat to games, practices, tape, etc.
  16. Should it have been Tyler Ennis then? Moulson wasn't a Sabre if Gionta wasn't (I know he played part of the season before but we still shipped him out at the deadline the year before). Maybe your main man Drew Stafford? Girgensons? Saying he shouldn't have been named Captain without stating who should have been named captain instead is a weak argument. He was the best option because there weren't really any other qualified candidates.
  17. Who else were they going to give it to though? It was a tank roster with no really good players. Ennis? Mouson? Girgensons?
  18. He's an asset in the sense that he's a player on the roster. You need a backup QB and he can hold the clipboard for the rest of the season until we are able to upgrade over him. The trade deadline has passed and he's got to know the playbook better than just signing some guy off the street who hasn't played or practiced all season. My point was simply that he wasn't completely unsalvageable. One horrible game as a 5th round rookie QB shouldn't define his career, especially when the idiot coach set him up to fail. I'm not trying to give him a pass for sucking. I'm fully capable of admitting how badly he stunk up the joint. Anyone who isn't stupid or insane could have easily predicted it though. That's more on the coach than the player. It's not like he's going to cost the team much money or cap space. If they can find an upgrade I'm fine with replacing him though. It's just tough to do this late in the season and after the trade deadline has passed.
  19. I agree. Reinhart certainly could have used him on his wing when he was getting time at center with a bunch of nobodies. I think he was a victim of wearing the ceremonial C when it was reported that DB lost the locker room. Fair or not, the fact that there appeared to be turmoil between the coaching staff and the players lead to both of them (Gionta and DB) to get the ax.
  20. I was against benching Taylor as soon as I heard it happened but to say Peterman isn't the answer is jumping the gun. Yes, he was horrible, but the blame for that falls strictly on the head of the head coach. QB may be the hardest position to learn in the NFL and McDumbass put a 5th round rookie QB into action for his first start in a road game. Most rookie QBs ride the bench all season and the vast majority of the ones who do play are generally early round picks, not guys who everyone in the league passed on 3-5 times each before someone finally selects them in the back half of the draft. I don't want Peterman playing anything more than mop up duty in the 4th quarter of blowout games (whether Buffalo is up big or down big) but the guy was set up for total failure by the head coach and that's exactly what happened. It doesn't mean he can't improve after watching, learning, and practicing for another year or two. All that being said, I think Taylor starts for the Bills for the rest of the season, barring injury or Buffalo being mathematically eliminated from playoff contention with games remaining. I also think we'll see marked improvement from Taylor from here on out but given the state of the rest of the team (particularly both lines) it still probably won't be enough to end the playoff drought.
  21. I'm pretty sure Bogosian is currently on IR and has been all season so far.
  22. This. He's either incompetent or crooked. I'm not sure which is worse but both possibilities are bad.
  23. They should have just gone with 100% of the world. There's like 7 billion of us who beat him by scoring zero today.
  24. 54-17. They're only being out scored by 7 in the second half so far. Things are trending up.
  25. ....... exactly for the reason he is trending or were expecting a 5th round rookie qb to light up an NFL defense that actually half way prepared for him?
