I wouldn't agree with that. Allen sucks, but he's already better than both McCarron and Peterman. The Bills would be better this season with him under center, even as an unpolished rookie with a gimpy elbow. That's how bad the QB situation is for this team. Now we get to pin our hopes to Derek Anderson.
-
Nonsense. If they didn't want Allen to play they wouldn't have gone into the year with 3 quarterbacks that have who have a combined total of 5 NFL games started between them all coming into the season. The excuses for this joke of a franchise keep growing. No wonder fans resort to getting liquored up and jumping through tables. The owners run a billion dollar business and seem content to waste entire seasons on a piss poor product where they have no intention of competing, or so we've been told by the Process apologists. Funny how they also seem content to charge full price despite them treating this entire season as a 16 game tryout for next year.

I'm only half joking. I've thought about it as well, especially since I usually keep my phone in my front pocket. Radioactive genitals may be a symptom/diagnosis down the road for millions of us.

They should have a pray off to decide. amirite?

Well yeah. Obviously using a computer means you are guaranteed to get cancer, unless something else kills you first. It's a good thing nobody else uses computers ....... oh. F#ck! We're all gonna die!

I fall asleep listening to some tv show every single night. Usually to some educational type program with monotone narration (something like Planet Earth, Frozen Planet, Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman, or How the Universe Works narrated by Mike Rowe). Most tvs even have a setting where you can shut the screen off but the program and volume stay on and now that it's easy to stream stuff using a Roku or Firestick you don't even have to worry about a random commercial that's 10 times louder than the program waking you up. It's awesome. The other things I'd highly recommend are dropping the thermostat down into the 60's and getting some sort of cooling pad for your pillow. I usually don't have any trouble sleeping since I set my programmable thermostat to 67 degrees before bed and using whatever cooling gel pad pillow topper that my girlfriend bought me last b-day/xmas or whenever she got it for me. They are comfortable enough at room temperature but you can also stick them in the fridge or freezer to get them really cold if needed.

Who Will Have a Better Season - Bills or Sabres?
Drunkard replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
The Sabres definitely seem to have the upper hand so far. McSoulless has dipped into the Carolina well once again so we'll get to see Derek Anderson line up under center until Allen's gimpy elbow heals. I'll take that over watching Peterman ever take another snap for Buffalo though. He's needs to just carry a clipboard or assist the new chaplain with prayer circles or something. Anything as long as it doesn't involve him stepping on the field for the Bills ever again. -
Or just buy wet wipes that are safe to flush. And I guess if you still want to give your kid emotional scars you can force them to wipe your @ss for you. Or chain them to the radiator. Whatever works.

GDT Colorado Avs vs Buffalo Sabres 10-11-2018 at 7pm
Drunkard replied to jsb's topic in The Aud Club
I actually like that Sabres logo better than the original/current one because it looks more 3 dimensional where the original one is completely flat. I believe the swords are the same ones used on the red thirds they used during the goathead era as well. -
The last one was the season finale? Bummer. I watched the latest one last night and should have known when there were no previews for the next episode. I miss stuff like that by fast forwarding through the commercials on the dvr though. I agree it was a good season. Excited to see next season when Jimmy goes full Saul Goodman.

I don't think Phil is the sharpest tool in the shed.

It's a shame he's already getting paid like he's already an elite player.
-
I think he means future ex GMJB might be denial about his acquisitions sucking (be it Berglund, Sobotka, Skinner, Sheary, or whomever) because they are his guys. Therefore the new guys will be given plenty of rope, whether or not it's deserved. At least that's how I read it.

The seat will get filled (by a Conservative judge) before the new Congress starts in January. Trump will stick with Kavanaugh because Kavanaugh has said that a sitting President should not be able to be indicted. Because of that, Trump will stick with Kavanaugh no matter what. If he doesn't get the votes though, Trump will be forced to pick another name off the pre-approved Heritage Foundation list and that guy will sail through easily. If I had to bet I'd say Kavanaugh gets the votes though.

Because Housley cancelled that practice. Duh.
-
It's easier to get more hits and checks when the other team usually has the puck.
-
Maybe this is just another 82 game training camp and they aren't keeping score.
-
The young player excuse ended when he started making top money this season. They jettisoned O'Reilly for a bunch of depth and handed Eichel the reigns. It's time for him to step up.
-
Exactly. This was supposed to be the one practice where Housley was going to share his super secret scoring from the blue line techniques he learned from the monks in Nepal. After today the blood oath goes into effect so the secrets will die with him.

Yeah, I live in eastern NC so I don't have to worry about blackouts, except for Canes games. When they play the Canes I'm stuck watching the enemy feed on Fox Sports NASCAR lovers or whatever they call it.

Same here. I get way too much spam and solicitations for donations so if the number that calls me isn't in my contacts list, I don't answer it. If they actually leave a voicemail, I'll listen to see if it's relevant and call back if it warrants. If they don't leave a voicemail I don't call back.

We got several feet of rain in a 3 day span due to Florence. On the news they basically said we received what we typically receive in 6 months over the equivalent of a long weekend. That storm wasn't very strong when it comes to wind but it was huge (YUUUUUUUGE, over 400 miles in diameter) and it was moving like 3 miles an hour at one point.

No sweat, man. I hope you have a blast.

I have Directv and used to spring for center ice in the past when the Sabres were competitive, but this season(as long as Buffalo doesn't sh*t the bed early on), I plan to get NHL.tv to watch hockey through Roku this season. Center Ice from Directv basically costs $160 (4 payments of $39.99) NHL.tv only costs $140 for all games but they also have the option to pay for just a single team for $110, plus they offer discounts for students and active duty military/veterans and their families. I verified my eligibility with Troop ID by using my USAA insurance eligibility for a 35% discount (I'm not sure what the student discount is) so you can get $49 off the $140 package or $38.50 off the $110 single team option. That brings the total to $71.49 (single team with military discount) unless they tack extra taxes and fees onto that. I haven't bought it yet since Directv offers a free 2 week previews of Center Ice so I intend to wait to see how the Sabres looks before I fork over an extra dime.

For as long as Zach Bogosian is penciled into the top 4, there's a need to at least investigate every available option at RHD. Even if they decide to pass they should at least look into it.
