I guess it depends on which character you base your Santa off of whether it's Saint Nick, Kris Kringle in Bavaria, Father Christmas in England, or whatever nonsense, but I get your point. Heck, I bet Jesus would probably be randomly selected for the bonus search from TSA if he tried to enter through an airport to the US today and likely looks nothing like Michelangelo's son or whichever Ninja Turtle it was who used his kid as the model for Jesus. I was just going off GCOE's joke about 11 going down chimneys into people's homes. I've never met the guy but going by the odds of being a hockey fan and living in Buffalo, I'm going to guess he's a white guy and him not having the best of tans given how much of the year it's cold and snowy. I could definitely be wrong but I'd say it's a safe assumption.

Hey, this is Buffalo we're talking here. Of course Zacha can lead us to a cup. Roy and Connolly were Top 20 Centers at one time and Darcy has done nothing wrong.

One that knows if he can turns things around that he's got a good chance to land a HC gig after it's all said and done, especially now with Daddy Warbucks owning the team. The amount of money you can spend on the front office and coaching staff doesn't count against the cap. If you want the best and are willing to pay for it, qualified candidates will apply.

Excellent. I can see it all now. On Doug Marrone: He ain't going no where. On Doug Whaley: What's he done wrong?
-
I'd be happy if they completely cleaned house and got rid of everybody. If we can some how still finish 9-7 I'd be ok with giving Whaley and Marrone one more season but Hackett would have to go first. I don't think that's likely though. Pegula needs to bring in some sort of outside expert or group of experts and evaluate every aspect of the organization from Brandon and Whaley all the way down to whoever sells hot dogs and replace not just the people who are doing poorly but every person they feel replacing would lead to overall improvement.

Be extra careful in Florida too, with those stand your ground laws. Luckily you're a white guy otherwise I'd advise a flak jacket under that red suit.

Yeah I don't care who wins at this point with RJ out. I was originally gonna delete my vote so I could vote everyone out but since the poll format changed so that multiple selections are no longer possible I just decided to abstain at this point.

All that's left is a butt ###### quitter, a guy who never won us anything, and one of his sidekicks/linemates. Who really cares how it ends from here on out.
-
You're right. He's better. Yes I said it.

You all suck. RJ has meant more to this franchise and is responsible for more fans than any single player. 40+ years of announcing > 10+ years of playing especially considering that none of them brought the cup to Buffalo.

######. Now Shittsburgh has to beat KC tomorrow and KC has to beat San Diego next week.

SF up 21-0. I just hope this isn't like 2004 where everything fell in place for us to make the playoffs only to have the Bills blow it by losing the final game.

Holy ###### a goal for Larsson. One time flash in the pan or is there still hope for the guy?

Great hit by Zadarov followed by a good hit by Gorges.

The current ones suck. It looks like a stupid blue cape over an ugly yellow jersey with giant gray cuffs. The only way it could look worse would be for them to put the slug logo on it. The only redeeming qualities to the jersey are the captain and alternate patches and the fact that the jersey will soon go the way of the dodo.

Exactly. Add in how horrible the Penguins were to get all those high picks as well. The Kings also had a bunch of bad seasons and a culture of losing before getting enough talent to turn the corner. The whole culture of losing thing disappears once that talent makes the roster. Our very own Christian Ehrhoff cited the two biggest reasons he signed with Pittsburgh was Crosby and Malkin. Someone should have told him about their horrible losing culture 10 years ago.

Horrible logic. RJ has meant more to this franchise and is probably responsible for more fans than any single player.

It's pretty even but most of the teams that have won cups in the last 10 years have had multiple top 5 picks. While Detroit, Anaheim, and Boston won without top picks there's also Chicago, LA, Carolina, and Pittsburgh that relied on high picks to win the cup, whether they kept the high picks or traded them for other assets/players that helped them win. Having a few studs on your team helps to create that winning culture and it's easier to obtain stud players by drafting high for a few years even if it can be done without top picks.

That may affect it's popularity by Cuban voters in the US. I imagine some would support it so they can go back to Cuba and visit family while others will be against it if they believe members of their family are planning on making the journey.
-
I wonder if lifting the embargo and this possible new "friendly" relationship with Cuba will change the political refugee/asylum status that Cubans who are able to make it to Florida now are able to get.
-
Not sure, but if I had to guess I'd put my money on one of the window lickers who keeps putting RJ on the chopping block in the All Time Favorite Sabres poll.
-
The only problem with that is next year he is no longer waiver exempt so if he struggles with the big club next year we have to keep him up or risk exposing him to waivers. I'd like to see him play at least a handful of games now before sending him back. If he improves we can then give him another shot after we move bodies at the trade deadline.

Deslauriers killed him.

Funny stuff. My favorite this pleases Nikita image was the southpark one with the stock broker saying and the Sabres have a 2-0 lead aaaand it's gone. -
No way they'd ask for Hodgson. They have enough forwards that don't play defense.
