Anything over 20 is good for me. I'm rooting for Moulson to finish out his contract on a high note, as long as he doesn't play so well in his final year that Murray contemplates re-signing him.

If your stomach can handle Mighty Taco then Del Taco should be no problem. I haven't had Del Taco since I moved from Irvine in the early to mid 90's though.
-
As you were then. Lindholm for Larsson, Baptiste, and a 2nd round pick. Not enough? Fine, we'll throw in a basket of crispy wings, but they have to throw in a deluxe chicken burrito from Del Taco.
-
No way we sit Moulson when the guy is finally producing. He's worked on his conditioning and is finally contributing. We have enough trouble scoring so sitting one of the few guys actually putting pucks in the net would be a bad idea, unless we're starting to tank already.
-
Exactly. It seems like everyone is channeling the Wookie lately with trade proposals. Lindholm would require Nylander plus sweeteners at a minimum or more likely Reinhart. He was drafted 6th overall and has shown to be both worth the pick along with 4 years of steady development. I don't care about their cap situation. There will be 28 other teams besides us who are interested so the idea that we're gonna fleece them of a blue chipper for spare parts is highly unlikely.

At 1595 after betting on Buffalo once again.

It's easy to understand if you look at certain issues. If you want Supreme Court justices who want to overturn Roe V Wade you're gonna vote for Trump. If you're afraid Hillary is going to take your guns you're gonna vote for Trump, and if you think the solution to the global unrest is to pour even more money into the Pentagon budget you are likely to vote for Trump. If you're convinced that Mexicans sneaking into our southern border are the biggest reason we are no longer great as a nation you are going to vote for Trump. The rest of the issues are just white noise and it's easy to dismiss other stuff as nonsense or conspiracy theory if the previously stated issues are more important to you.

What if by bike he meant motorcycle though? If that's the case I go about 14 miles in 25 minutes while drinking coffee and smoking two cigarettes every morning on the way to work. Then I do the same with water instead of coffee on the way home. Yay me.

Fair enough. For the record though even signed documentation would be pointless because even if you received signed consent that is time stamped for the October 27th at 11:00 pm the person still has the right to revoke consent at 11:01 pm or any time they feel like it. They could be fully enjoying the encounter, then it starts to hurt and if they say stop, and you must stop because it is no longer consensual at that point. Reporting regret sex is incredibly rare though, but even though it does happen occasionally it is generally sniffed out through interviews with law enforcement and/or the district attorney. Reporting cases of sexual assault takes a huge emotional toll on a victim and given how low the conviction/punishment rates are for people who are actually sexually assaulting others, putting yourself through that ordeal and drawing all that attention for something like regret sex is even less likely. If you sleep with "Bob" and you really regret doing it the last thing you generally want to do is talk to a bunch of cops and prosecutors about sleeping with "Bob". The main reason most victims come forward is because they don't want their assailant to victimize somebody else and that just really doesn't apply to "Bob" who didn't do anything wrong you just regret your decision to sleep with him. All that said there are still some horrible people out there who will make false accusations and completely fabricate their stories or tell partial truths to make themselves a victim and the other person a monster. There's not much you can do about something like that but to tell the truth and hope the professionals (Law Enforcement and District Attorneys) are competent enough to see through the b.s. The best thing you can do is be more discerning about who you choose to take home or have security cameras with audio so you can show that consent was never revoked.

At $1695 and I will put one unit on the Sabres even though I previously said I was going to stop betting on them. I can't in good conscience put money (even fake money) on the Flyers.

I believe this to be the case as well. Moulson looked incredibly slow last year and by the time he got demoted to the 3rd and 4th lines it was apparent that he was struggling to keep up. Playing with less burners coupled with his newly improved conditioning should help he production to bounce back. I don't think he's going to reclaim the 30 goals seasons of his prime but I could definitely see him crack 20 with regular power play time and being on a line that doesn't cause him to be permanently sucking wind.

Can you expound on this whole recanting of consent issue you're talking about? Are you talking about false reports that stem from "regret sex" or are you talking about a scenario where consent is initially given to "fool around" for lack of a better term (kissing, touching, whatever) and then the woman decides to stop it at some point before actual sex starts or even right in the middle of it? I work in this field and I can tell you that the first scenario I described is rare (maybe 1 or 2 per year out of hundreds of cases investigated by our stats) and the second part is completely within the rights of both parties. Either side has full right to stop or tell the other person to stop at any point.

Well what just aired (season 6 finale, season 7 premiere) was episode #100 in the comics and I think they are up to issue 160 or so now. If they keep similar ratios that would put them at 9 or 10 seasons minimum.
-
Bingo. It's a simple as that. Don't touch people without their consent.

Sexual harassment is generally not physical in any way. SH is where the crude jokes, offensive pinup photos or calendars in a person's office area, elevator eyes, and things like that which can create a hostile environment fall within the guidelines of Title 7 of the Civil Rights Act (at least for the work environment). The moment it moves to touching another person in a sexual way or a sexual part of the body it becomes a form of sexual assault. The exact offense (rape, sexual assault, wrongful contact, abusive sexual contact, etc.) will depend upon the jurisdiction of where it occurred (state, city, county, etc.) and what was alleged to have happened (over or under the clothes, what body part was touched, and so on).

C'mon Charlie, everyone needs a little bestiality, , and necrophilia to brighten up their day. It's more fun than a Saturday trip to the Home Depot. -

Pretty much. If you ever want to win a bet for who can name the most f'd up movie, it should be the winner. -
Pretty good episode. Still wish they had picked Henry Rollins to play Negan though. They based the comic character on him, he auditioned for the part, and the still picked the other guy.

I'll go with Robert and Hawerchuk even though he's better known as a Jet.
-
I would definitely like to see Reinhart at center and spreading the talent out should give us a better chance at secondary scoring.

Movies / TV Shows - I Have Watched / Plan To Watch

Beginning all the way to the credits. Definitely the most disturbing film I've seen. It's like the writers were constantly trying to top eachother with how low they could set the bar. It's a little campy but worth a watch. I don't think I was impressed enough to watch the sequel though, mostly because sequels tend to drop about 2 points on the scale of 10 to me and I'd probably only give the first one a 6 or 7 at best. -
You may be confusing me for some other kale eating, granola making liberal, but that's not my fault. I don't pat myself on the back for being caring or inclusive, in fact I do quite the opposite. I don't sit in an ivory tower, play acoustic guitar, or expect everyone to get along so you can save the kumbaya crap for somebody else. Yes, I said f the Catholic Church because of what they did. They let horrible things go on for decades (probably centuries) and only finally decided to do something about it once the media made the extent of the damage widespread. Even then changes didn't actually happen until all the bad press caused the attendance to drop the amount of money going into the collection plates every week. The sad thing is that's not even my biggest beef with the Catholic Church, although that's what helped bring it to light. They sit on a king's ransom worth of money that should be going to help the sick and the poor (you know, like a REAL charity would). If Jesus really existed he'd be f'n pissed about that for sure. I remember the story about him flipping over carts in a temple because they were conducting business in his father's house. What do you think he'd do to the Pope for sitting on $8 Billion in cash and living in a giant city while people starve to death? We're talking about your theoretical tax structure, not mine. Even if I get to pick the charity if I'm required to donate that money based on the tax system you invented then they are tax payer dollars and public money as a result. And you can donate to the NRA all you want. I don't know which one of my posts has made you think otherwise. I'm not a big fan of guns whatsoever but they are so far down my personal list of issues that I don't really care. I'd rather see Churches pay taxes on their pyramid scheme and selling the invisible product of salvation then ever see any new legislation on gun control. Give Wayne Lapierre's kid a bazooka for all I care.

I was referring to the first post above I multi-quoted. Your proposal that a portion of tax dollars should be specifically ear marked for the charity of their choice. That would still be public tax dollars in my book. I love your attempt to turn your make believe nonsense into my reality though. Where did I say that Obamaphones do not exist? I never said that because I know they exist and I believe it's a good program in theory at least. I don't believe they should get the latest and greatest most expensive gadget on the market though. All I said was a comment about anecdotal evidence and that waste, fraud, and abuse is going to happen in any large system or program. Then I gave my own piece of anecdotal evidence about the fraud, waste, and abuse of a particular organization that violates their own teachings from the big book of bad ideas and other jewish fairy tales.
-
3 cheers for anecdotal evidence! There is always going to be some fraud, waste, and abuse in any large system. In fact I know this one "charity" that spends millions of dollars to keep their leader is his own city, even though the person/deity that this organization is based on was specifically against that kind of thing. They also spent millions and millions of dollars defending members of their group they preyed on innocent kids. And some people think they should get public tax dollars.
