I also believe that Crawford will fail in the finals. He did it last year in round one when it counted and will do it again in the finals. It is more a gut feeling. I hate boston but i love their hockey especially in the playoffs. But he way Chicago played until know promises a giant Stanley cup series.

I want all three of them, and a bold move for Malkin ( yeah it never happens, but i also take Ovi :D, nah just kidding ). Inbelieve we have enough role players to fill up line three and four if we can convince the three above to join us. Vanek Hogdson Horton Ennis Grigorenko Filppula Bickel Larson/ Leino Ott ( for me the Leino exepriment as C is not over) Flynn/Foligno Porter Tropp I think i can live with that lineup, although Filppula is not a real right wing. It is not a lineup of a cup contender, but i think it should have some grit and talent to make the playoffs and maybe enough to make round two. If we are unlucky Stafford will be on line two nstead of Filppula D: Ehrhoff Sulzer Myers\ McNabb Sekera Weber Pysyk\ Ruhwedel I think this D could work if Myers gets his game straight G: Miller, Enroth, Hacket Maybe Miller will be gone for nr. 2 center and pick. And my dream for Malkin : Grigs, Miller, 2 first ( this year 8 and next year) or Grigs, Miller McNabb/Pysyk and first ( this year 8) But i would only do it if Malkin shows interest to sign an additional contract ( i know this won't happen).

Why do you hate him?

Hehe i always dreamed of him in a Sabres uniform. But there is no way we will get him and sign him. No way.

Because of this everybody who is not a Bayern fan in Germany hates them so much. Their strategy: Just buy the best players in your league and the best coaches and dominate. My favorite team is Dortmund, so i really felt bad after the loss on Saturday. Hate them, but i am happy we dominated them for two years. Now our management and coach need to show some magic and find some great talents, again.

I am a mixture of 2 and 11 mainly with sometimes a little 8. If the referee is a major fail i sometimes yell at him/ TV. I do not know if this is an 8, but i think you know what i mean.

Wow, great game by Detroit! I wish they would be my favorit team. Lets hope for a great future for our Sabres. It us time to finf someone like Zetterberg in the draft. Pavel would be awesome too.

In the west i root for Detroit, although Chicago will win the series. The next one are the Kings. I love their playoff hockey.It is hard , dominant and really nice to watch. And i think the western conference finals between Chicago and LA will be awesome. And Quick will win the series. In the east i root for the Rangers, although they will be defeated by Boston. All other teams i do not like. I really hate Boston, i dislike Pittsburgh although their hockey is a really good watch. The eastern finals will be Penguins against Bruins. The SC final will be LA Boston with LA defending the cup.

To resign Vanek it will cost us Getzlaf and Perry money 8 for 8, if we get him for 60 million for 8 years we would be lucky. This is the current market value for stars like him. I know you will hate it, but star power cost star money. For Vanek i would invest the money, because i think he has not reached his peak yet. Miller is more difficult, because his greatest strengths is his constant performance on a good level, with the potential for star level the one or other season. He won't sign for less than 6 years with a salary of 6 millions per year. Do we sign him for this kind of money? I am not sure, i hope we could get more via trade for him. To motivate Vanek to sign with us for the rest f his professional life, we need some signings like Iginla and / or Jagr. He needs some serious experienced talent to play with. Maybe also Miller as goalie.

I just watched this period. Wow what an intense hockey game. Yes the Canadians were running mad and made lots of ceap shots, but the shew that they are alive and fighting. Game 4 will be awesome.

I understand your system, but really bad teams need support. I would like a lottery of all of the first 14 picks. Maybe with increased chances for bad teams, but there should not be a guarantee for tankers.

I would really lo ve to resign Vanek as captain of the Buffalo Sabres. I think the organisation of the post game salute in Boston showed his class and that he is a worthy captain. He can be our captain an maybe a potential retired jersey candidate but only here in Buffalo. Maybe he also will win a cup here, but he will get the chance to lead our franchise in a hopefully golden future.

Jochen played more than 600 games for the Sanres, so i think he earned his own thread. I will miss him, because he was solid in his last season, although the whole team sucked. I am looking forward to watch him next year in Mannheim.

I do not like to loseMiller. I like him and what he said after the game was absolutely right. But who do think will try to get him? If Chicago fails again because of devastating goaltending, they may try it. The same may fit for Anaheim. New Jersey needs an post Brodeur type of goalie but they will rebuild too, so whyi nvest 6 mill in a goalie? Hmm Washington can also be interested if Holtby does not deliver in the playoffs. But what will be the return? What do we need the most? Our offense is hard working but bad, our defense was a mess this year and our goaltending did not stick to the expectations too.
