The thing that stinks is that all they had to do was not absolutely throw up all over themselves and they would be in pretty good position. 7 game losing streak, I mean, come on, just don’t suck.

And everything that goes along with it. I could go on forever about this but the point is, I just miss all of it. My kids are die-hards and they have never been able to experience any of it. They are both in college now and it's a real shame the darkest times took place when they were old enough to care. I miss the crowd, the energy of the city, the games that actually mean something on TV, and the sport in general. I know most view me as some pesemist, but that could not be further from the truth. I gave up seasons this year after 10 years and I have been a loyal fan since I was about 10 years old in 1980. I am still one of their most passionate fans and my frustration probably comes across the wrong way (which is why I try not to post much in game-day threads). Anyone on this board most likely feels the same way and we all deserve sooooo much more. Give us a team that fights for wins each night, even if they lose. It's just sucks that this city is BEGGING for a team that represents our passion and it's not even close. I love the original unis so much, but the Goatheads are so lovely because it represents that badass team that opponents just HATED playing. Until the Josh Allen led Bills, that Goathead Cup team was my favorite Buffalo sports team of all-time (and I still haven't missed a home Bills game in 18 years.) I hope that we all get to experience it again someday, but the light at the end of the tunnel gets dimmer with each year that passes. I have a very fortunate life so it seems so selfish that this team bothers me so much. Go Bills, Go Sabes, and Go Buffalo.

Lindy Ruff was always the dumbest choice for HC of this team of idiots. He no longer has the fire and and drive to fix whatever is wrong with this team. It was a feel-good story for both sides and another idiotic hire by an organization that other coaches feel is diseased. No respected coach will ever come here so it's either hiring a retread that has no other offers or rolling the dice on a first timer. The truth of it is that there are no answers anymore. Every single night, it's something different that causes these mental midgets to fold. There is talent but they are broken. Every single player on the roster has a major weakness and together, it is just an awfully constructed team. The only hope is firing Kevin Adams and letting Lindy walk away with pay. Since that will never happen, there is no hope. There is literally NO HOPE. It's a terrible place to be and the fans get screwed the most. 14 freaking years, wow, it's almost impossible to be irrelevant that long.

This Is Perfect

The way you have to look at it and not be frustrated is that it didn’t even matter if Buffalo hadwon tonight. This team is not good and they won’t be good at any point in the near future. even if they went on a 10 game win streak right now, it would not mean anything. You can clearly see that there is no talent on this team.

I actually can’t wait to hear the locker room comments, this will actually be fun I just wish they didn’t even make it to overtime, they don’t deserve a point.

I honestly cannot believe that anyone goes to pay to see this crap anymore. It boggles my mind.

There can be no doubt that Buffalo is the worst team in the NHL. They don’t even look like they know what they are doing anymore.

The collapse of this team is actually becoming entertaining. I just hope we lose it in regulation again to empty the rest of the salt in the wound.

None of these guys want to be on this team anymore, especially Dahlin. That is the vicious circle of this crap organization. All the good players want out and all we ever get back is crap in return. I honestly don't think this team will ever be good again as long as they play in this city, with this owner. Players have given up, fans have given up, and every single year they miss the playoffs, the city cares less and less about them. By the time they move, this team will be an afterthought. That is honestly how far this organization has fallen, just a shame.
