  1. Wow, Myers responsible for another goal...what is that 4 games in a row? I don't care if they won those games, he is becoming a huge liability
  2. nice wind up Connolly you clown. I think Ruff is almost at his wits end with 19......
  3. Not sure which way to go on this one. On Monday I predicted the win against Vancouver and then tonight would be the laying of the egg. I'll drop the laying of the egg but still think a loss - 5-3 Caps with empty netter
  4. This really needs to happen. I know Lindy is letting Myers play through his slump but that should not be the case with the living blow up doll - he needs to be demoted today
  5. Thoughts: 1) Myers saved his hide with that goal 2) Vanek is back with a vengeance - first time since that injury a couple years ago - STAY HEALTHY PLEASE 3) This team could really make it easier on themselves if they had any sort of a power play 4) good to see Connolly as a healthy scratch
  6. Wow, have not seen Vancouver yet this year....do they ever miss a pass?
  7. I think they win tonight and lay a HUGE egg in Washington on Wednesday....
  8. I expect a win tonight. No way Vancouver comes in here after being on a tear and carries the momentum. Perfect timing to catch them in a lull (especially for a Monday) 4-2 Buffalo
  9. SOLID! What a GREAT game by the defense. If they can play like that, it's a brand new team.
  10. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think the problem is with the forwards on this team The Defense Sucks Great one point for OT though - let's get two
  11. I have now gotten to the point that Connolly is starting to make me physically sick every time I see him.. CUT HIM ALREADY
  12. I meant that in the most sincere way! Nice to see Pommers, Vanek, Roy and Myers all show up at the big times tonight (even though Vanek was a bit shaky) Thank goodness Connolly did not get a chance in the shootout Loved the passing tonight and I think these last two wins carry over big time until Miller is back....
  13. Connolly really needs to go away forever and ever and ever and ever
  14. No need for Enron to try and make a glorious street hockey save, just keep it out of the net idiot
  15. With the schedule they have coming up after these 2 in NY, this really is a must win game and I think the first true must win of the season.....
  16. Great optimism De Luca, love it. I brought my 4 year old daughter down with a minute to go since she is going to her first game soon and I said "the boys in blue are going to win this in the last minute". Guess who has a new bedtime of 10:00 for now on!
  17. I feel like we just won a playoff game - THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
  18. There is always a breaking point game where I no longer become angry after the loss. If they blow this one, it will be MY confirmation that the season will be lost as they are proving they can't even beat mediocre teams. This makes it virtually impossible to get back into the top 8.
  19. I think there should be an on going thread on the most prevalent excuse for each game - I'll start it tonight with "hey they have lost 4 in a row and were the more desperate team, they just wanted it more." I wish Buffalo knew how many they have lost......
  20. I gave away 2 tickets last night face value $163 per for nothing - I can't even sell these things
  21. No Miller until at least mid next week
  22. Well, you gotta love Lindy and that is a constant. He has got to be the coach to bring this city its' first championship. If these guys don't believe in him - drop them all
  23. OK, since I am the one who made the statement, I will explain it plain and simple. The reason why this team disgusts me to no end right now is exactly why I think Gaustad is a problem. If there was ever a guy on this team who could change the tone of a game and lead by example, it's Gaustad. Yes, he is good at faceoffs but come on, the fact that he does not get his nose dirty is a MAJOR problem that permeates this team top to bottom and big to small. When McCormick dropped the gloves last night, it was the loudest that building has been for at LEAST 2 years (I am not exaggerating either - for a moment it was deafening). All this crowd wants is for someone to show they freakin' care and last night was EFFIN PATHETIC! Is is too much to ask Gaustad or ANYONE for that matter to get out of character for one night and show the fans they have not given up? If it was not for McCormick, I probably would have left after the 2nd period....
  24. You have to be kidding me....Gaustad is getting paid what he is to win faceoffs!? He is a shell of what is expected of him out there. I have not noticed him ONCE this year.
