In order for the Sabes to be a contender, we still have to get that true #1 Center (which they will), move grigs to 2nd line and Hodgson to 3rd line next year (or vice versa). I can see a 1st round pick, a Dman and Ennis getting traded for that #1 C.

This just HAS to stick all season - sooo good. On a side note, I was taking my daughter to a tennis lesson and told her that I was thinking about taking her to the scrimmage (but didn't). Well, just saw the recap of the northeast division on NHL network and that was just the kind of jumpstart I needed. Looks like I'm ready for the season now and I'll be picking Boston Friday night as my first choice in the ticket draft. The NHL crew really made a point to say sabres will be ALOT tougher to play against. Let's hope that's true....

It does not matter if there is one worth picking at #8. If the Bills target a guy who they REALLY like and there is a chance he may be gone by the time their 2nd pick comes along, you take him. I don't give a crap if they reach because he should have been an early 2nd round pick. This team needs to find a QB once and for all and if it means Mel Kiper craps on the pick being too early, whatever......

When I have my new ticket draft, I will be staying far away from January/early Feb games as I would feel too guilty attending. Hopefully, by the time mid Feb comes along, I'll be ready to actually cheer again from the stands.

This team is flat out unwatchable. I will be going to the Ralph for the final game against the Jets but as soon as my tailgate is over, I'm heading back home and not entering the stadium. Ralph, I know there is nothing you can do right now but for the love of God, hand signal to your wife and tell her that the plan to sell the team can now go forward. Most 100% cashmere sweaters I have seen are in the $300 range so in this case, getting 3 for around $250 was a pretty big steal in my book. Tough to say on the suits as there is such a big range in quality so you may be right there.....

Ultimately, both sides know that this sport cannot take another full year lockout. Die hards will come back but they woould be crazy to think significant damage won't be done. I will be looking to sell the majority of my seasons this year so I really don't care either way....

I just hit J Banks yesterday and the sale they have going on right now is ridiculous. Buy one item and get the next 2 free (I believe the sale was yesterday and today). I bought a cashmere sweater for $295 and got 2 more for free. I also had $25 coupons for every $100 spent. I walked out of there with those 3 after spending only $225. Go buy something as a gift and keep the other two for yourself - can't go wrong!
