  1. Take a look at the God awful talent on this team. How in the world do they even keep most games within a goal?
  2. A loss to the 2nd worst team at home sandwiched by 7-1 and 5-1 losses. This is even worse than than watching Kelly Holcomb lead your NFL team.
  3. Trying to trade him right now with McCormick and Tallinder
  4. So it looks like Minnesota or Washington for Miller. What would we get in return is the question.....Trying to move Tallinder, Stafford and McCormick as well.
  5. Miller is going to have the game of his life tonight and I have no doubt the Sabres are going to win for his last home game ever.
  6. Why in the world would we not be able to flip Moulson? This injury will have no effect on him being traded. The top 5 pick this year from the Isle or the possibility of a lottery pick (next year) automatically makes Buffalo win this deal. The best deal the Isle will get for Vanek is going to be a 1st round pick (and not a great one)
  7. Buffalo is pretty much locked in at the 1st or 2nd worst record in the NHL. If Edmonton gets the top pick, there is no way they don't take the Dman with their pick. In the end, Sabres will get their choice of any of the Centers no matter what.
  8. Forgot there was even a game, couldn't have cared less either
  9. I'm sure Kane is very happy in ChiTown but it looks like most of the "Blackhawk for life" came from GM and Toews.... http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nhl/blackhawks/2013/09/11/blackhawks-toews-kane-training-camp/2802181/
  10. I think they should mortgage their entire franchise on figuring out how to get #88 out of Chicago (legally or illegally.) Starting making bribes and promises to every family member extending out to 3rd cousins. Start building the statue that will replace the French connection and rename the construction project The Kane Center. There has to be a way and with the first or 2nd pick the next two years, the rising of the young D and the signing of Miller, the Cup will arrive in stunning fashion no later than 2017.
  11. This rebuild really needs good news on the Moulson update
  12. Can you imagine if this team had an aging 7 mill Doan? Thank God that never happened
  13. Just lose 5-4 the rest of the way and I'll be fine. At least when the trade deadline is over, Miller and Moulson will be gone and THEN we can start to see how much help this team is really going to need. It is just painful to watch Miller steal wins when we all know he is not part of the future.
  14. I just stared at that lineup and just thought...and thought....and then looked at the lineup we have right now. This year can't end fast enough. They might suck next year but at least you will not have to look at all that crappy dead weight.
  15. Grigs, Ennis and a 2nd? Ennis would be the starting piece of this trade - the other 2 parts might as well be Porter and Ellis
  16. So when Miller and Moulson leave, what are we looking at, 2016 earliest for a top 8 spot? How the hell am I going to sell tickets next year....
  17. Yup, just terrible, terrible players. Leino makes me miss Staff and that just hurts my brain typing it.
  18. I seriously don't know if I can mentally handle being the worst team in the NHL 2 years in a row. I hate this season SO freakin much.
  19. If we got to keep our farm system, I would in a heartbeat...
  20. Here is the rule that everyone needs to understand when talking trades. Unless there is a top 3 draft pick or a player going back that makes you think twice, it will NEVER happen. Now for Eberle, those names would include Zadorov, Myers, Girgs or maybe The Hoff
  21. Jim's 2 biggest areas of strength are 3rd downs and Stopping the run - sound like any weaknesses a certain team might have? The fact they got this guy so quickly and convinced him to coach this year (when it has been said he was leaning towards taking a year off) speaks volumes to me. This is a new front office that means business and that should give hope to many fans. This is a GREAT hire in my eyes. This guy is no doubt coming in with a chip on his shoulder which should translate to a pretty nasty D.
  22. I have been hoping that I see a consistency that shows that this guy can be a number 1 for Buffalo but I just don't see it happening. He has his moments but let's face it, this team is thinking one of two things: 1) Trade Miller and all but assure yourself of a top 3 pick next year 2) Do everything they can to make Miller happy and have one hell of an off-season. I think we all know that they are leaning towards option 1 so I sure hope they have a solid plan to fill that tender spot eventually. I really don't think a lot people realize how valuable someone like Miller is to building a champion.
