    Although a player like Girgensons may be the captain in a few years, Buffalo absolutely has to bring in a Callahan type player to teach these kids how to be winners over the next few years. All of this potential and youth will be useless without someone to guide them and teach them how to win in all situations. Maybe they bring in someone a notch below Callahan that won't command such a big payday but you know what I am getting at here. Who are some of these targets that may be willing to come here for around 5 mill per year and is in their late 20's early 30's? As I see it, that player is definitely not on the team right now.

    I don't want ANYONE on this team who is not going to be a part of the rebuild. Keep the junk veterans we already have right now until the youth is ready (or a trade is made for someone who WILL be a part of it.)

    Everybody brace yourselves for how horrible (and I mean HORRIBLE) this team is going to be next year. We all knew it was coming but just know there will not be any major free agent signings this Summer because right now, Buffalo will get the same response from FAs that Edmonton does. In 2015, we'll see......

    I'm at a point right now where I really don't even care if Nolan stays or goes. PLF picked Nolan so maybe the best thing would be for Tim to pick his own guy and make this team his own once and for all. Yes, Tim wants Nolan to stay but I am done caring about who stays or goes (Management, players, coaches, everyone.) Sell everybody and collect, collect, collect. If someone does not want to be here, see ya. This team will be worse next year so for me to even expend an ounce of energy caring about all this soap opera stuff.......nope, not this time.

    Anyone who doesn't think there is more to this story is just completely blind. The timing alone SCREAMS there was a bombshell in there somewhere. Does anyone honestly think PLF would do this 4 days before the trade deadline? This was horrible timing at its finest....Think!

    I still want to know the finer details as to how late and how much was consumed the night before Super Bow XXV.......that was 24 years ago.

    My main worry still is connected to the fact that TP wanted PLF to be GM when Pat had absolutely no clue how to play that role. If that does not scream Marv Levy as GM, I don't know what does. Without knowing any of the facts, I just have a feeling that Pegula is going to look like an amateur when it's all said and done.

    I am totally prepared for it. My prediction is that Miller brings back a 2nd rounder and a back-up G.

    My 6 year old will be leading the charge on that one. He made a sign that says #30 stay 4 the and then a big picture of the Cup he drew. He still think there is a chance he stays because of the sign, bless his heart.

    Is this team planning on holding on to any of their good players? Is Girgenson going to be on the next link I click on? This is starting to look like a 5 year rebuild. All of this trade talk is fun and exciting but when it's all over, and we look at the roster, reality is going to kick in BIG time. The hardest one to part with for me is going to be Miller. He has always been the one player to bring a ton of respect to this team and when he is gone, not only will Buffalo need a #1 Center, they will also need a #1 goalie. Not having a super star in this year's draft may be the most damaging part to this whole process.

    My second to last game of the season on Friday and taking my 6 year old. I would love that to be Miller's last game and I think the crowd has a chance to create some atmosphere after 2 wins. Honestly, I'm sick of not caring anymore so I'll take a win.

    I would have to say this was the first Olympics in a VERY long time where I really had no interest at all. I think this Sabres season has really shot my sports interest all together.
