It sure seems like it. For the last 10 years, every time teams play their backup against Buffalo, they look like the second coming of Patrick Roi.

This really is our only hope. And how long is Kesserling out? At least Power is back, and I can't imagine he does not throw some weight around this year. I mean, if he doesn't, he's just going to be booed off the ice every night, no?

I’d be happy to just bring in an actual starting goaltender. It’s pretty crazy that every other team in the NHL has two of them. 🤣

Funny, you mentioned that, I feel the exact same way because of the goalie situation. They have nobody to blame but themselves.

Am I the only person who thinks it is a gigantic red flag that Levi cannot crack the starting goalie lineup with the garbage they have on the roster? I mean, UpL is out and he is STILL not one of our top 2?? What happened to this guy? Why have they not traded for a starting goalie? Give up prospects and 1st rounders for all I care…

He also said the we are in a world of trouble with goaltending and it doesn’t matter how good your defense is with a goalie situation like ours.

Is there a bet I can make for the Sabes NOT to make the playoffs. I wonder how much I would make if I put down $300. If they do make it, best $300 I ever lost. I did that with Chiefs Bills this past year in the AFC Championship.

Mike Schopp stopped by our tailgate yesterday and we were talking about how soon the Sabres season will get derailed. If Buffalo does not have a decent record by end of November (lots of winnable games IF they are going to be a playoff team), we both thought the season would spiral.

I am at the point where I really don't even care about new injury announcements. I genuinely think they are going to be a mess with the current lineup as it is, or with any of the call-ups. At the same time, I could not care less about the draft position because none of that has helped over the last 15 years either.

Total seriousness here, who the hell is going to be their goaltender this year and how can this be such a gigantic question mark 14 years into the drought? The only thing that could possibly save this team is elite goaltending, so how the hell are they going to get above 80 points this year?

This team is not only terrible, they are sooooo boring to watch. Can we at least ice a team with heart if they are going to suck for yet another year…ugh
