We all knew that the second Adams was kept on, any trade value coming back for these moves was going to be awful. If the owner doesn’t care, honestly, why should we? this is where I have landed and I just hope that a new GM next year can get much better trade value for Dahlin.

It's too late for that, there is no improvement from year to year. Last year was a disaster so it's too late for Peterka. Now Buffalo has to make it a priority to stop this from happening to Dahlin and Tage. The moves this summer will determine if that happens. I would argue that this is the most important season in Sabre history. If there is a repeat from last year, they will have to start from scratch, book it.

It doesn't matter, all these guys want out and there is nothing Buffalo can do about it.

THis is the part that got me. JHC, feel sorry for the fans because this team has sucked Donkey D*&$ for more than a decade. My God, he is the absolute worst.

If you think you really had to explain that for people to catch the humor, the reputation and sense of humor of this board has sunk like the Titanic. 🥹🤣 I was actually going to type something very similar, but thought, no need.

A city that is not on every players no-trade clause. Expect the same for any player looking to get traded. Buffalo will only be able to get free agents by overpaying by a ton. The reputation here is so beyond awful that I really think this team will never recover. Drafting is there only chance from here on out.

He is a perfect missing piece on a stanley cup team on the verge, that is where he will go. I think he is as good as gone.

Because it would would make Buffalo even worse, and those are the types of trades that Adams loves to do.

If you are young enough to just enjoy being at a game and not really concerned with the outcome, I would say yeah, maybe for kids 14 and under. Other than that, winning is all that matters. Currently, you could not PAY me to go see the crap that has been on the ice over the last 10 years. If they were in a playoff spot in February and they lost, whatever, fine. I had seasons for the last 10 years (not last year) and turned down tons of invites to go to a game in 2024. There is ZERO entertainment value for going to see this garbage. Just thinking about how pathetic this whole organization is makes me angry, and going to a game would just exaggerate that emotion. I legitimately despise everything that is Buffalo Sabres related and I am one of their biggest fans. I hate Pegula for what he has done to the fans of this city...HATE.

This for sure is true. I really find it difficult to believe that this team will ever make the playoffs again.

Yup, soft, barely any talent, no goalie, washed up coach, and terrible management. I don’t know why i am surprised anymore.

It just reveals what we already know....this team is full of coasters who don't want to get their hands dirty and put in the work. It will be sooner than later when Tage adds his name to the list of people who will demand out of here. I started to think that it would be best to relocate for a year if you knew you could get a brand new team after the 2025 season. Either that or trade Dahlin, Tuch, Peterka and Tuch and start with a whole new group. It can't get any worse than it is now and maybe the next group will offer entertaining hockey once in a while.

Unfortunately the time to stop players from wanting out of this mess has passed. Once they brought Adams back, that told any player hoping for change that it was not going to happen. They will get what they deserve, and that is a 15th season in a row missing the playoffs.

If we lose Byrum, Peterka, and Tuch, I think it's really time for me to stop following this team for a bit. I have zero faith that Adams will get solid returns for any of those 3. Every trade year, the Eichel returns will be shipped out and diluted even more. It will eventually be like we never even drafted Eichel to begin with. Who knows how much of Paul Hamilton's opinion will actually take place, but it aligns with everything I have been thinking over the last few years. I think this team is going to drop even further than last year, with a max exodus to follow. It's impossible for me to have an ounce of hope about the coming season.

There is no way that the Sabres would trade him for a 1st and not package the two 1sts for a player. If they created another hole on one of the worst Ds in the league and just used the draft picks, that arena would be a ghost town next year.

None of it matters, honestly. No coach better than Ruff will come to this mess. It's players, coaching, GM, scouting....the list is endless which is why 15 years is coming up.

Why is this even being talked about as an idea if he has a 10 team list on no trade. If Buffalo is not #1 on that list, it's pretty close. ZERO chance people like him will choose to ruin their career by coming to Buffalo.

I have zero doubt that Utah will make the playoffs before Buffalo

Pittsburgh was total success. We were on a CBS station interview for a couple minutes and they wanted the whole toronto story. I brought the custom made hat to the Pitt show, frisbee tossed it next to Post and he picked it up and wore it the rest of the song 🙂 Mission Accomplished

It's going to be hard to imagine this team worse than this past year, but they most certainly will be without Peterka and Byrum. It will never end with this circus. If there was a guarantee that the worst record would get the #1 pick, I would say blow it up again, but you know they will drop to #4 in the order. We just have to hope the Bills finally do it this year to serve as a distraction to this mess...

So I was in Toronto this past weekend with my girlfriend and she looks over at a guy smokin a cig outside our hotel bar and is like...isn't that the singer who is playing tomorrow night? She is wearing a custom cowboy hat that I got for her and we go into the bar and he wants to try it on. 3 hours later, we are still drinking and telling stories with Post Malone (Austin) and his guitar player and I mean, nicest guys on the planet. He asked how long we were dating and I said 7 years. He goes...why don't you two stay tomorrow night and I'll get you 2 tickets to the show, and you can get engaged on stage. A couple more hours pass and I never brought it up again. I may have really botched this one and I think I may really never let myself live this one down...ugh.

He would NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER even think about coming to this blackhole, ever. Blackhawks or Sharks have tons of money and could be on the rise with someone like Marner to play with their other superstars.

I don't want Eichel to one up McDavid...Eichel was painful
