  1. Ohhhh, yeahhhh.... Count me in!
  2. We knew Rick was declining a bit, but public perception didn't have him appear this frail. 81 is not as old as it used to be, but this is very saddening. Rip RJ, we'll win one for you!
  3. I had sushi for dinner, then had a massage. Simple, but awesome.
  4. I'll move, unless I'm in a mood and they're face down on their phone on my side of the sidewalk. Then it's a hard shoulder check without breaking stride 😂😂. Sadly (wonderfully) my ability to detect crap happening in advance was enhanced in 2005 when I cranked a deer on my morotcycle. Now I see crap unfolding wayyy before it happens because that was some scary s+it. So yeah, I'm not trying to fight or interact like Inky says, but maybe next time you'll learn to be more aware of what's happening outside if cyber space.
  5. Hell, when it's too busy and I need my space, I just start fake hacking and I'm in my scrubs and people just leave me be 😂😂 One of the very few positives from pandemic times.
  6. It's very walkable, I sauntered the canals down to the walk along the water, take that over to the Byward Market. Have a meal at the Elgin st Diner. There's an amazing Lebanese takeout place called spice kitchen, small menu but some of the best I've ever eaten, it's in a hidden door in a warehouse and you order online, I go every time I'm there and they guys are awesome and so kind. As you can tell, I like food 😂 Carbide Wilson hike is pretty and then there are just so many little hikes around Gatineau, once you cross from Ottawa proper, you cross the bridge into Gatineau and it goes from Ontario to Quebec Provence, kinda cool how it changes. Plus Jenis Ice cream, which is some of the best I've ever eaten.
  7. I like going to Ottawa, I can typically make it depending on what I drive. The nordik spa in Gatineau is amazing, the food downtown and the buildings with just a touch of the European vibe.
  8. Hopefully they are good, last time I saw the Goos, Johnny seemed like he lost it a bit.
  9. I've been looking at a C8, and they're overpriced as hell right now. The z06 that has msrp of 114k,being sold for near 200k....supply and demand and the chip shortage. I guess that's my complaint 😂😂 I can't afford one right now, but I've got my eye on one
  10. Honesty, if it wasn't in the title... Not sure I would have noticed
  11. @Doohickie Looking nice! I am thinking about doing some tile work myself, but I also worry about the grout lines. I'll stick to painting walls for now 😂
  12. Getting my driveway paved this week.... 11k sq ft of asphalt is not cheap 😭😭
  13. Yes, I am fortunate enough to have landed a career that is allowing me to pay it back. That's not the case for a lot of college grads, sadly.
  14. Talk about student loans... I have a good job that I've been at for quite some time... I still pay over 2k a month in loan payments.... 42 months left. Merica
  15. All I know is that people in suits are the enemy to me. So any corporate speak is just some of the worst stuff I can ever listen to. This coming from a health care worker in the trenches, so obviously biased in that regard. Bringing up age really is peculiar, in this climate where everyone is offended by everything, they're taking a big chance in throwing that out there. Maybe it's a test to see if that offends you. Some of these companies do some crazy phsyco analyzing during interviews these days.
  16. Haven't dipped them in the water yet... I'm going at DeShaun W once I'm in tho.
  17. I just bought 2 sea doos this week with a nice trailer. Got them registered and I can take the boat safety corse online. It's 30 bucks with unlimited cracks st the test. Seems wimpy for how much HP those things have on the water. They're fun, but I see people wreck all the time (mostly because they don't realize you need to throttle to turn) so they just end up smashing into whatever is in front of them.
  18. That was fun, Tatar was looking for us after the game, he was a cool dude. I need to get back to Iceland, my cousin plays semipro hockey there and keeps inviting me out, a lot of NHLers go out there to play just for fun in the off season
  19. With those lines, he could run for Congress..... And get elected
  20. If you make it Allegany way, Mangia has a good pie, it's a thinner NYC style but is tasty. But other than that, there's not much but Domino's and Little Ceasars
  21. The summers are so much hotter than we used to get. I remember 80 degrees was a heat wave and we got snow often starting in October, the ski slopes opened by Thanksgiving. Now it's routinely upper 80s for days on end. Don't get me wrong, it's great. But I'm built for the fall and winter months and now that I learned to ski, this global warming (or heat cycle, whatever you believe) is annoying. 😂
  22. The new home has a terrible dog smell, I have carpet installers coming next week some carpet, some vinyl plank. By ripping out the old stuff and removing the molding, it will save about 2k overall. So I'm doing it and the carpet is NASTY, the people before me never once cleaned up after their dogs. The dryer is full of hair, hair on the walls I'm painting, hair all over/stuck in the trim. I just don't know how someone would purchase such a nice home and then let it just get destroyed. I'm hoping the subfloor is safe once I rip the pad up or else I'll need to clean it with enzymes and paint with kilz, etc.
  23. I'd rock the sweater of the team I'm talking about, hockey jerseys are just plain awesome!
  24. Have you looked into the inspire device, I know some people that have had success. I'm not overly familiar with the particulars but it's a small device implanted same day and works without need for the horrendous cpap
  25. I just saw the new Indiana Jones last night (it was quite good)... So this really resonated with me 😂😂
