  1. I was called to work in Potsdam on Thursday so I had to give up my free suite ticket, which makes me very sad. The downfalls of the job. I work overnight tomorrow night so in prepping by staying awake late tonight, so I'll watch and hope they can play like it appeared they did last night. Gonna call them the Buffalo Amphetamines because they're hard to quit.
  2. All it takes is a bad triage nurse that shift or an overcrowded ED. Welcome to Hell.
  3. Win or lose... Who cares. If they lose, it's more of the same. If they win, you know we're losing the following game anyways. If it was a 7 pm game, I would put it on the background, but being late, I'm not sure I have it in me tonight to watch this as I work early tomorrow.
  4. I know it was a clean hit, but man... Not one sabres even gave McKinnonn a tiny bump the rest of the game. I watched them shy away from him in the corner multiple times after. You are allowed to hit back, even a clean hit. This team is lacking something... Heart/Soul, toughness, moxy... Idk maybe a bit of all of it, but they are not likeable.
  5. I'm 40, not sure if that means much lol. I don't party anywhere near my youth, but that shouldn't prevent me from caring about my Hockey team. They just suck.
  6. Obviously if we're still here, we care a little. I even haphazardly watched the game a bit last night. I was offered a free suite ticket to the leafs game next week, so I won't turn that down. But I'm more interested in the food and the company than a leafs game. How sad is that?! An all time awesome rivalry and I'm more interested in off ice stuff.
  7. I gave up after goal 4... I have to work overnight then next few so I try and prep by staying awake. The sabres lulled me to sleep.
  8. Again no one near the net.... These guys may all just fall below the Forrest Gump line... Not smart hockey.
  9. I drive to Ottawa a lot to go to the Nordik spa in Chelsea on the Gatineau side, I work a bunch up near Potsdam these days, so I just pop over the Ogdensburg bridge... It's nice down by parliament and the ByWard market, but I've driven through some shady spots of the City on my way through, driving back home. I think an area in that area would be nice, it's very central and walkable.
  10. I went skiing today and the Hills were icy. I slow down quite a bit when the conditions are icy. Apparently the Sabres do too.
  11. I don't know what it suggests, all I know is that if Edmonton can do it, then we can too.
  12. Edmonton is 7-0 in their last 7 games... Talk about a turn around... Let's hope Buffalo takes notice.
  13. Is Adams playing 4D chess with the fans with Robinson.
  14. I know it's 17-17 still, but this is not an enjoyable game. We aren't a good team.
  15. Another great Buffalo sports weekend I see.
  16. Reminiscence of the Fabio incident.
  17. KC thru us like soft butter. Good game calling Mcidiot Also, great great management of the 1st half ending. Not I want to see a seagull just fly into her face one of these times they show her with her stupid lipstick.
  18. I would say Adams needs to go ASAP, a GM that gets excited over Irwin and Robinson and runs backs the same team as last year, is a GM that simply doesn't get it. He has made several blunders that are inexcusable as a GM, mainly, leaving our goaltenders on an island to starve. Pegula is clueless, and the fact he came out publicly and said their lifestyle matters more than results for the paying fans, that sealed the deal. Maybe if he was smarter, he'd realize that a good team brings in a ton of money, playoff revenue, etc... Oh and that he'd get more fans instead of alienating a whole generation with the most craptastic hockey I've ever seen in my life. Supported by the intimate futility of missing the playoff for 13 F*ucking years. After hearing the Botteril stuff and him meddling in huge decisions, it's no wonder that anyone with experience and autonomy would absolutley not work here. Instead we get a goofball nice guy that can't make a ballsy transaction to save his life. And he has no stress as he continues to run the organization into the earth's mantle.
  19. January won't matter. December matters and you see what we are doing with it. I saw a slight glimmer of hope on these boards after the Boston win, but as always, they ripped that away by choking a team they really should (and frankly need to) beat. KA and DG simply need to be relieved of their duties and we need to move forward for the rest of the season with whatever prospective fill in until the off season when we need to get the best candidate available.
