Def agree, however if there is a really special player they aren't coming to buffalo and if it's a big bargain then there's usually a big reason for the bargain. We haven't done well with the FA market recently. I'll give regier credit for the gaustad and Hodgson trades, even the pommerz trade. I think there's a lot of availability to come out on a good end of a trade now, but I don't quite know what the sabres are committing to as an organization, if it's gonna be a suffering rebuild, then we absolutely have to move some players. But then I hear talks of buffalo maybe picking up some older veterans and that defeats the purpose of everything they should be going for. I think we are at least 5 players away from being a playoff contender. I also think Myers needs to return to form this season or else he needs to go too.

I don't want Horton, didn't want Vinny L, or any other old washed up players. I want youth and a lot of it. Tenacity, work ethic, and passion for the game. I want a total rebuild starting with a team of players in their young 20s. Free agency isn't that great this year, I would gladly trade miller and vanek for draft picks and prospects. And Stafford for a 2nd rounder as well.

Admittedly I only know what I read in the past few minutes.... so I don't know the exact deals of the trade other than McBain and sekera got swapped. Is sekera our 2nd best d man? And I don't know much about McBain. I guess I was just hoping for at least one of the two "big" players traded. I guess there's still time for that, but I'm glad I went out with the family today instead of watching the draft, great fireworks tonight

Been out all day, decided to just check in and see what was going on. I'm a little shocked we didn't make any significant trades. I can't say I'm too pleased with this draft, not too happy with Darcy right now, but then again who really is.

I got a lil nervous after Boston made it 2-1 interesting that both bergeron and toews were out.... Possible concussion for toews, idk what happened to bergeron but he went to the hospital. Maybe a ligament injury that was undisclosed.... Both players very pivotal to their respective teams..... Blackhawks were able to win some draws after the injury to bergeron.... Here's to hoping that he stays out for a game or two and hope that toews can come back. Yes, I found myself chuckling at that goon

Chicago is clearly doing their best Toronto impression and choking, they can't win when it's a chippy game and now when it's end to end aka their style, they're still getting outplayed. Idk what the answer is but I think it's too late for them.

Wow this series is becoming less exciting by the game. Hawks PP is just outright awful, and they look out muscled tonight

I liked the way Chicago has played in spurts this series. But it doesn't seem they're playing a full 60 minutes, and Boston sniffs that out and really turns it up. This series has 7 written all over it. But if rask keeps playing as well as he has been then in just don't think Chicago can take it

I think Kane would turn into Roy version 2.0, maybe with more talent. But I have many other choices for local boys a la Callahan that I would take before Kane
