Granted Miller may have been rusty last night.... He could not control his rebounds and that ultimately helped the comeback from the flames.

Honestly I thought Vancouver controlled much of this game and Miller did not look good tonight as well. Nashville choked away this game (ala Vancouver) but Chicago is for real..... Wonder if an Anaheim vs Chicago match up would be a great series.

Just was thinking and wondering if anyone here thought that the playoff format would benefit from being changed. We all know that the Stanley Cup is the hardest to win in all the major US sports. Is playing 7 games against each opponet a true measure of which team is clearly better. Unlike in football where 1 bad day can bounce you, teams can adjust to each other over a long series, attack and counterattack, some other sports have a wildcard playoff and then a mix of 5 and 7 games. I realize most fans love the battle and the 7 game series to get to the top of the mountain, I certainly do, I am just entertaining ideas if there were to be a tweak anywhere,would it be accepted/welcomed??

I just got home from vacation in Punta Cana and I need to say the amount of Canadians there was shocking, it was Punta Canada, literally everyone was from the great white North.... Made for good times at the resort a lot of habs fans and leafs fans to banter with and knowledgeable hockey people too. We'd all hit the sports bar which is almost 24 hours and they'd be streaming 2-3 big screen games add that to top shelf free booze and some smoke from the countryside and it's a great time. Not expecting hockey to be streaming in the Caribbean

This is the first night im able to watch playoffs this year and it's in the Dominican Republic of all places..... I've been following on the board and it all sounds so great..... I was glad the caps tied it up tonight, I love when playoffs go to game 7. And Calgary is really taking it to the nucks. And Miller is in net!!!!!
