I mentioned I wasn't too mad about game 1 and that game 2 would be the real answer. We got it. They played "marginally" better, sorta. The shots were absolutely out of hand, and this team seemed to pack it in. Clean hit or not, I needed to see some fire from this team, OK cool, good for tuch; but cmon, where was even an attempt to throw a hit at anyone on their team. Where is 11 million dollar captain? Tage one dangle and lose the puck, even Quinn is non existent. Something is wrong in Sabreland

At least the bills are completely ravaged by injuries, and this was technically a "reset year" plus they've been competitive for several years now. The sabres.... I mean, oooph. I got nothing.

Thompson is NOT a "star" Cozens is not consistent enough to be a top 6 player. What happened to our illustrious captain, he looks so disinterested. Krebs... Nuff said. Ruff in all of his glory, benched out only. Player with heart for said Krebs. We let a dirty hit basically go, hung Levi out to dry, couldn't out skate anyone to a loose puck and quite simply looked like a college club team. I'm struggling to see any light here, the tunnel isn't just long, it's collapsed and we're running out of oxygen.

It's one thing to come out shaky in game 1, but if you come out for game 2 against the same team and display what we saw today, then yeah, we have a problem with the actual team construction..
