I still don't see how this team improves unless a lot of better teams next year regress. We have a much tougher schedule next year, we had a relative cakewalk this year and still sucked it up. And that included a new England team that was ripe for the taking in 1 game. Sure we may "gel" or slightly improve a bit, but when you put that together with the more difficult strength of schedule, Tyrod will need to become Brees for us to sniff a winning record. I'm less confident about next season than I was about this season and it's not even the off season yet. And this coming from someone who absolutley despised the Rex hiring from day 1 Is there a solution to this wheel of perpetual $hit that is the new age buffalo Bills, aside from a QB, we've tried every combo of coordinator, coach, player personnel, etc.... There doesn't seem to be any light at the end of the tunnel. The Sabres may very well never make it, but at least there is a clear path in place and it is being followed thru, as far as the average fan can see, when I look at the bills being the average fan, I see chaos. Over and over

The "There Is Nothing Wrong With Jack Eichel" Thread
Wyldnwoody44 replied to bob_sauve28's topic in The Aud Club
I'm glad you see that, hope you're right, ill hold total judgement until he has better linemates, but he has regressed over the season and I'm not seeing his take over ability at this point in time. Also any reason why Kane is taking faceoffs and not eichel? -

Penalties aside, our PP looked like dog crap, eichel looks bad (or at least not good) and our veterans are all but invisible. Still we outplayed Chicago today- 469 replies

We outplayed them and deserved that win, no way in the world does a team get essentially a 6-3 and then an extra penalty after not getting one all game unless they are the current Blackhawks..... Disgusting- 469 replies

I bet if jack took that same spill he'd be up in the press box healing as well. But he's been too busy floating to take that spill. Yeah, I went there- 469 replies

I keep trying to tell myself this, but I don't think he's going to single handedly turn this team around like it was talked about in the off season. I think all the talk got me overhyped- 469 replies

No penalties, not a lot of whistles, but overall a pretty boring game between these teams.... Which I suspect is planned By DD against these guys. Man eichel-Kane, they just don't have the IT factor at all Gionta still lacks any ability to possess the puck for more than 1.3 Seconds I hope eichel can one day stick handle like the cabbie beater- 469 replies

Is that right Ennis Kane eichel..... Hmmm 3 guys that hold the puck, could be electric.... Probably will be terrible. Real measuring stick, I say 4-2 bad guys- 469 replies

I say put Cal in for Gionta or drop Moulson or rearrange the bottom 6....or keep Gionta off the top 6(DD looking at you) separate Kane and eichel and experiment with some different guys, the way things have looked of late it wouldn't hurt.... Anaheim out shot us, they just kinda suck Happy we won tho -
Oddly enough Weber looks fast when skating out there with franson... That's saying something.

I still think we either need more offense from him, (including better decision making on when to run and 3rd and short) as well as passing TD's total, OR him to stay as consistent and mistake free with the defense taking a giant leap back to form, this is the thing to watch for next season along with the penalties. But what to do with the draft, I still think we need to take a QB

Unless our GM pulls his head outta his @$$ and doesn't rely on Tyrod like he did on manual (which is a fireable offense on its own) idk if we will address the most glaring NFL need or if we'll stick to patchwork drafting of linemen, linebackers and such. I just don't see next year as being better at all, this year's schedule was vanilla, and next year it gets tough. Let's see if we can break. 500 against better opponents
